Now that I’ve wacthed the video, I gotta say that it was ok but it didn’t feel like a chat. There was limited interaction with the fans who were watching.
I still prefer the old text moderated chat. So much more convenient! Everyone got their turn, there was no spam at all (chaos in general), no nonsense questions, etc.
Lastly, I do hope next time around it will be a regular chat just for the LPU members and not open to everyone.
Thank you all for participating in this LPU Q&A with Rob! Here at LPU HQ we continue to look for new ways to connect you guys with the band. This was something new and completely different than an LPU Chat as we know it, in retrospect the name shouldn’t have been “LPU Chat”, since it’s something new. I hope you guys enjoyed this new LPU Q&A and that you continue to welcome trying new things with us.
TinyChat which is the familiar platform we have used for LPU Chats is not currently mobile friendly and still runs flash (flash won’t work on iOS devices). In addition the quality of the video stream is low and we want to make sure LPU members have the best experience possible.
