Which song do you consider the LP anthem

I think it’s Numb. I don’t have nothing else to say. It’s something that the song and the video make me feel. No way to explain.

And you? Which song do you consider the LP anthem?
It can be a song with a great meaning on the lyrics or simply for you, that makes you feel good, a song that you think everybody knows, that everybody could sing or only that you like most. Give me any explanation.
Say which song and why

I dont have anything else to say* grammar problem there haha

I think its “In the end”. Don’t know, just feel like it is, can’t be explained like you said.

It’s really tough to say which one can be an Anthem song because Lp have done variety of songs and it confuses right now to choose the one song. But I am a big fan of Mike Shinoda because of rap style which can be seen in Hybrid Theory and demo songs.

I like “Step Up”, “Dedicated”, “And One”. I would like one of these songs to be an anthem  The reason is it’s rap style, Mike Shinoda’s best singing, according to me it explains how one be a rap or hip hop or freestyle which can be heard in Dedicated song. Can’t think more than this so it might make some sense

i think their anthem would be given up. the lyrics are pretty simple but they pretty much get the message out of what most of LPs songs are trying to explain. kind of like a summary of their lyrics into one simple song. and plus it rocks really hard. but for their most recent work, style, and lyric content… i would have to say “robot boy” kind of sums up their more recent tracks. its got really powerful lyrics aswell and covers their newer lyrical subjects pretty well. neither of the to songs have rapping in them so they might not really be a great display of what LP is all about(like their “rap-rock” style), but i think these two songs make good “ANTHEMS” as to what LP is trying to say via lyrics and messages. just my opinion.

If I have to choose, either In The End or One Step Closer. Timeless songs that everyone knows whether or not they like LP or not, and they are still hits live.

I agree with sophia. Numb was very succesful and i think everybody knows it.

While it might not be the best song or the most popular song (while it is a very good one), High Voltage is my pick, I think it properly describes Linkin Park

“When They Come For Me” most def. They put in the song how they won’t fall to what everyone wants them to be. That’s what I love about them. They do what THEY want, and fans love it. No matter how they have changed, they follow themselves. And fans love it. They still bust out bad a$$ music no matter what has happened or what gets thrown at them.

I think that’s too hard of a question. All of LP’s songs are amazing.[/size]

very unexpected song choice but i compleatly agree with you. very good points.

For me its "A Place For My Head", cause its one of the oldest songs and the one with the strongets lyrics ( my opinion ). But youre right : In general itd be hard to figure out one or a couple of songs, considering them as LP anthem.

I think it’s “In The End” because it’s “IN THE END”! There’s not too much to explain. Everybody sings that song together at concerts… That’s it! [smile]

That’s a hard question because a) LPU members love the band more and therefor can’t chose between like 100 songs and b) an anthem is basically a song a band is known for in the general public and not the inner circle so I’d either go for In The End or What I’ve Done. Most people seem to know these songs and not the rest.

I think, Lost in the echo is a good anthem, because there’s rap, a scream and great singing. But of course, it’s an hard question. LP made always so different songs…

In The End is the LP Anthem because everyone, even those that aren’t LP fan know and love that song

I usually am front row for LP shows. I have been for 13 LP shows. But 1 show, I bought lawn tickets to, Camden this year. When they played in The End, it was magical. It was POURING rain that night, everyone was DRENCHED, but the entire place sang together in harmony on that one. I have never heard that before. It felt like I finally belonged somewhere. Like all LP fans were united and happy at once… I will never forget that…

In The End has a wonderful energy, is inexplicable, so I think it is the anthem!

Needs to be a song everyone knows, so there’s 4 logical choices: In The End, Numb, One Step Closer or What I’ve Done.
