Where do you buy your music?

I buy my music at Amazon and iTunes (digital) and the LP CD stuff physical at Amazon.

I like to get the hard copy CD cause it’s better quality than MP3, plus I still have a CD play in my truck. If I can get it directly from the artists site, I will order it that way. They usually run some kind of special if you do it that way…i got a signed CD cover from Bush when I ordered through them. Those are the things I look for. Discounted tickets with a purchase, discounted merch, first shot at tickets or mech…you get the idea. If I have to get it on iTunes, I will…like the new Julien-K album. So, it just depends on what the deals are. I don’t look for the cheapest, but what’s it going to be worth.

Mostly in local music stores. On internet, only music like live concerts via band websites or that stuff

The one album I bought in 2011 (LIGHTS - Siberia) I bought from Amazon.

I generally don’t listen to music that has to be paid for.

I buy my CDs / DVDs normally at the local music stores  but sometimes I buy them at iTunes, EMP, Amazon or Ebay

Saturn/Media Markt sold Hybrid Theory for 5,99€, that’s pretty cheap for not paying extra for shipping. Minutes To Midnight Tour Editition for 9,99€, Songs From The Underground for 6,99€ and Road To Revolution Digi-Pak for 5,99€. There were some other cheap things, but I don’t remember them.

Both internet and music store. If I can’t find it in my local music store (which everybody buy everything up in the store and I’m tired of driving around my town to find it), then I’ll shop online. I don’t have no choice. Mostly, I’ll buy merchandise and music on the band’s website, If I see what I’m looking for. I’m so happy Linkin Park is updating their music store. Not only, I can’t wait to see what they got, but make it more easier and convient to buy.
I buy my stuff at Best Buy…but unfortunately I went to a Best Buy the other day and their music selection was limited to two racks front and back…I was COMPLETELY shocked. I’ve heard that we can expect CDs to be obsolete in two years but I didn’t think it’d happen this quick. :’( It’s sucks. I like having the physical CD, plus…it is no joke that CDs produce the highest sound quality than an than any other format out there. I hate listening to music on my iPod Shuffle and I have never bought a song/album off iTunes. When it comes to .mp3s, there is just a lack of depth in the music…LP’s music wouldn’t be the same without that bump of bass I get through the distorted guitars and synthesizers. :(
We’re almost the same, haha. In regards to the highest sound quality, I think vinyls prevail.

My main source for music/entertainment is FYE. Next is Best Buy or Target.

I don’t have an account with iTunes, and I do not own an iPod/iPad or products from Apple

I have a CD player, and a 13-year-old stereo in my room. It has a set of extra speakers on it too that came from my sister’s broken stereo. In my opinion, a hell of a lot better quality-wise than an iHome

It’s getting more and more difficult to buy physical CDs anymore. Growing up, we had about 5 or 6 stores around here where CDs could be purchased from any artist you could imagine. Since that time, our local chains have gone out of business just like Circuit City.

Times are changing and I think, personally, in this case it’s unfortunate

In-store midnight CD release parties anyone? Instead, when you pre-order an album it’s automatically sent to you once it’s released.

Does anybody else remember the LP Newscaster episode from the Meteora in-store signing at midnight between the two back-to-back shows at the Wiltern Theatre in LA?

God, I feel old.

i buy most things on amazon

Lately, bandcamp. lol.

Obviously LP isn’t on bandcamp. I’m thinking about switching my other music purchases to amazon. Though lately I haven’t felt a need to buy mainstream ever since i got spotify.

So i’m making spotify my real answer.

local music stores, amazon, ebay and few other online stores (they usually still have stock for old releases). i usually bought physical albums/singles, not a fan of digital unless that’s all they have like LP’s DSP.

What onlione stores do u mean? Cause I dont know any :(( Can u send me some links pls?

oh so that exclusive then ;D

CD´s on amazon but normally i download the music from youtube.

Never been a fan of digital downloads. Nothing is better than having a physical cd in your hands, best feeling ever! Putting the cd in the player and going through the booklet. And it actually varies where i buy cd’s… i usually go for the cheapest one, lol. But sometimes from excitment when i see a cd that i REALLY want i can get impulsive and just buy it, when i know i can get it cheaper somewhere else. xD

I usually buy from Gramophone, HMV or CD Rama in Singapore  When CDs first come out, there’s usually posters or stuff that is given for free when you buy them physically!

I usually go to best buy to buy a cd but if I want to buy online it would probably be amazon.
