Wow! This Looks like an angel !
indeed I didn’t notice it.
I thought I’d share an account of where I hiked yesterday (mountains about 90 miles north from where I live). I made a 10.6-mile round trip hike to a summit on one of my favorite routes:
Some scenery early on:

A vid I shot of some ptarmigans. Unbeknownst to me, they travel in gangs…

Here I am about half-way up:

A 360-video of the summit which I reached, elevation ~4400 feet. It was just a perpetual stream of cloud bank on the ridge. I was listening to some LP - A Thousand Suns up there, which was very cool for the atmosphere (at one point I was singing aloud, very loud, with Chester to “Waiting for the End,” haha) And some Hybrid Theory galvanized me in my struggle up the switchbacks to get this far (of course “in the end it doesn’t even matter,” yada, yada…):

Another cool pic, at a point when the fog broke up. You can still see it rolling across the ridge, though.

Man, it was a pretty exhausting hike. I forgot since I hadn’t been up there for three years. But I really needed to go back for a day. Love it up there. The isolation and scale of the scenery are theraputic to me.
Wow man, these pics are great and with all this fog a lil mysterious…
Thanks! Yeah, I wouldn’t have changed the weather if I could. On one hand, the fog obscures the long-range views, but then again, it really does create a cool mysterious atmosphere, as you note. It doesn’t really come through in pics or vdeo, but I can actually SEE the wisps of cloud and fog blowing right past me when I’m in the middle of it. It’s really surreal and awesome, actually.
That looks awesome. It looks a bit like Scotland, or at least what I’ve seen in pics from Scotland.
Yeah, I think the landscape there looks pretty similar from what pictures I’ve seen too. And I’ve heard of how foggy and damp it often is in many places in the UK. I think I would really like the weather there, since foggy and damp really appeals to me. I’ve never been there, though (or to Europe at all, actually).
It’s been damp here (London) recently, especially yesterday where all my clothes were sticking to me. But we haven’t had fog in ages I love fog too.
Wow again…such a great shot !
That looks mad.
Thanks!
Yup, It started raining(AGAIN) about 15 minutes after so I had no chance to escape:sweat_smile:
hahaha, hopefully it was a warm embracing rain
it was! until the sun comes down
Perfectly! I love Brad’s guitar solo in that song
where do you found this beauty?
