New sighting, coyote
This morning
From today’s hike with my dad.
The first one was from the parking area. This region is past foliage peak. Still plenty of color, though.
From a distance, it looks Stonehenge-esque, but there was a cabin that originally stood here.
The summit!
I must be blind, I only see a bunch of logs.
Earlier:
Diff picture but he’s dead center
It’s a lot clearer in the live pic on my phone, he dipped his head in the one I posted
But yeah… funny to see how close they walk by joggers and bikers
Reminds me of an episode of Deadly 60 (a show about animals) where the presenter was in Australia. One of the local animal experts was showing him how lethal snakes just casually live in bushes in public parks that people walk mere metres past daily. The snakes just know when to pick their fights.
Aye it’s…interesting lol
Just recently they were talking about how bad the rattle snakes got in Yosemite Park here because people had to stop going for a while and animals got comfy to it,
The rattlers aren’t even giving warning, some hikers were saying they didn’t hear warning no sighting no nothing just a straight bite to the ankle
Maybe last week they caught a mountain lion on camera watching some kids playing outside it’s trippy haha
But weeeeere the top of the food chain
