Wow that’s crazy! You walked 15km with all the sheep?

Yes. And a group of teenagers from a supervised housing. They were the really amazing one. Complaining the first half, then fighting through and afterwards so proud. :muscle:

@lpaniist now I’m also curious, what kind of bike training did you do?

Teenagers can be even worse to control sometimes

I went to training camp by bike… 90km, almost 4.5 hours :muscle: I’m probably not gonna be able to walk tomorrow :grimacing: :joy:

You probably don’t need to walk, just to go on that bike again.

And for what exactly do you train? :hugs:

My dad and I just spent the past few days camping. This was the view from our campsite on Wednesday night.

DSCN2713
Our site was facing to the west, so with the mountain in the way, it didn’t make for much of a sunset.

Yes. This is exactly what it looks like. Usually they’re enclosed.

We had to paddle to get to our campsite on the lake. On the first trip, we took all our gear. This was our second trip with all our firewood.

These photos don’t show just how bad the flies really were.

These are from our hike yesterday. It was a three mile hike (4.8 km).

My dad and I hiked Wakeley once before with the Boy Scouts, probably 15 or so years ago. The first two miles were a breeze. The last mile was brutally steep.

This was from the summit.

These are from the tower.

There used to be a map at the top of the tower. It has since been replaced with a locked box.

There’s my dad…He looks like an ant from up here.

He made it up the tower as well. Though he did so in bare feet. His socks were soaked through, and so was my shirt. The top of the tower was a great place to air it out, though.

The sky looked so smooth that my phone couldn’t even focus on it properly. It kept thinking it was out of focus so it just made it worse.
