Because I’m going paintballing again. 
I had substantial lumps on me for a few days and marks on me for a week after the first session. Not to mention it took a couple of days for injuries to show up that I didn’t even know I had. It was a blast though.

Turns out this wasn’t hyperbole. I almost broke myself today, I’ve got more internal than external damage this time. My hands are intact and I only have a few bruises. By far the most painful was getting shot (almost) in the throat on bare skin from about 3m away. About 2cm higher and I would have been keeled over on the ground like an asthmatic.
The internal damage is exhaustion and trauma mainly to my knees, very sore joints, as well as my skin being red and warm. Also I’ve got a high body temp and a headache. No regrets though. If anything I find it all pretty funny (hence posting here). The look on my mum’s face as a part of her died inside when she saw me was comedy gold.
The opposite team were total arseholes, not owning up to being hit and point blanking our team. We still won, but they pissed us off.

Speaking of girls, some poor girl on my team had a bruise the looked like chromatography on her arm and it was a good 6cm in diameter. It went from light blue, to purple, to dark blue and to yellow on the edges. It looked brutal.

Yep, forearm. She took several nasty shots to the head too. The other team were arses. So I lit 8 of them up huddled in a hut. 100 rounds in under 10 secs. And guess what? None of them owned up to being hit despite being absolutely splattered!

Well relatively. She has colics every few days. Without help she can’t poop and when it’s long enough, her belly hurts, she can’t stop crying then, poor little thing. It’s heartbreaking when you know she’s suffering and sometimes nothing seems to help.
We’ve tried everything and I think it’s getting worse. So we’re going to the doctor today and we’ll see what’s next… I hope they won’t tell us it’s normal because we cannot help her poop with a rectal tube every few days, she won’t be able to hold poop in the future 
I’m afraid.
Otherwise we’re okay and too happy. When she has no problem, she’s an angel 
I call her “my little duck” because she makes this duck mouth when she’s hungry slight_smile:
