For me, currently, anyone who makes new threads without searching first. We end up with two or three of the same thing and it gets really annoying. (Not to knock on the mods, but can we merge some of them? Or is that not allowed?)

I agree with your quoting qualms. I think it’s especially funny though when people quote your sig just because you say not to. Sorry.
I wish there was a way to automatically differentiate between quotes and what people are replying with. If you don’t insert the line yourself, it just looks like a continuation of the text.

… What if they have a reason for quoting it? Like my sig is “If anger’s a gift then I guess I’ve been blessed,” because I can be a very angry person. I don’t tell you that so that’s what the quote is for.
Granted, if they are quoting it just to quote it, I suppose that could be annoying.

I can’t stand people that go around to every forum post they can find and pitch in these meaningless comments like “that’s so cool” or “I agree,” just so they can collect a bunch of points. If they’re going to reply on the forums, they should at least have something useful to say…
I also can’t stand quoting signatures. It makes the threads kinda impossible to keep up with.

Well thn someone needs to tell that to the people who reply to EVERYTHING 
I thought of another one.
Back in the “Sparkart days” as I like to call it, each topic on the forums had “sticky threads.” Every topic had a sticky thread with the rules of the forum.
It almost seems like the boards are a free-for-all and the mods don’t seem as active as they were then, or even if they have the powers they had back then.
I myself think the boards need an overhaul. /rant
And then there are the TinyChat problems with the chat room…
Can’t see that problem. If somebody wants to make a short comment, he is free to do that. If that comment makes sense at all, is another question. There’s no rule, that postings have to have a huge information content. If so, the forum would be not so active.
Its annoying to keep scrolling all the way down when there’s pictures repeated down the whole page.

The point of this topic is to address issues with this forum that mods can’t fix but only users can,also to make this forum easier than it already is. No one said its big issues in our life, that would be making this topic on a personal level which we wouldn’t need.
That these forums are dead and I want to talk about random things! (explains why I went back this far)

people who hoot and holler during soft, slow songs at concerts

Yeah I agree with the above statement, I mean point whoring was cracked down on real hard back a few month and it stopped - but it seems to be starting up again >.<
As for the quoting of signatures, thats more of a website related issue. The forum is custom made and does not run on PHPbb (well im pretty sure it doesn’t) and PHPbb which has all those things covered - really the web designer (aka Adam) just needs to make signatures default as unquotable within posts.
Another show scheduled in Los Angeles. Seriously though, are the Los Angeleans sick of LP by now? They play there all the time. What about the Canadians, or the Mexicans, or Africans that have never seen a Linkin Park show? Rather than the people who have seen ten or so LP shows in the last few years alone playing the same damn city?
