I remember my first LP live concert back in 2007. What a nice concert in Copenhagen with Leave Out All The Rest played live for the first time ever. I had my old phone with me (0,3 mega pixels camera) and recorded some videos. It was so bad quality. But after the concert I was like, "why did i recording it? So i could enjoy it afterwards, but why not enjoy it in the moment? And get so much more out of the show. So after that I do not record at live shows, so I can enjoy a full show. (I had recorded then i ended up at the stage with Volbeat).
When I just saw this video on youtube
It is up front in the pit. Super nice intro and what happens? Nothing? People just standing and recording. One or two people are jumping up and down. With that kind of a intro everyone should jump and down and go crazy. We are in the pit here.
I don’t know if it just me, but I think there are to many people recording, instead of enjoying the show/concert. Live shows are to be enjoyed live, not afterwards. Just my opinion.
