Friday I had 3 or 4 bottles of wine and ended up crawling back home.

Saturday I got treated on a McDonald lunch.

Today I got treated on fries and a burger from the local snackbar.

Darn… I’m hungry again.

my mom’s cheesecake

That’s some kind of a lemon pie though.

it’s a “golden dew” cheescake

Never heard of it.

It’s some kind of easter local cake here’s the recipe

Ah, that’s why. It’s not the original cheesecake.

Lemon Cheese cake is the single worst dessert I ever tasted. It actually contained proper cheese and paired with the revolting, semi sweet, artificial lemon flavour I very nearly threw up on the spot, I only just managed to stop myself. I like a good cheese cake so long as (ironically) it’s the sort the doesn’t have actual cheese in it but is more of that dense cream stuff.

I always thought cheesecakes were made with cream cheese, not plain cheese. That indeed sounds disgusting. And I only like it with cherry or strawberry jam on top. Lemon pie is ok as long as that meringue is not included, that thing tastes like sh*t.

The last few cheesecakes I had were horrible because of this reason :confounded:

I just don’t like lemon desserts in general. They always get the lemon flav all wrong, they try to make it sweet but only manage to get halfway there and they get this disgusting artificial tasting half-arsed flav. The only meringue I like is the solid one that crumbles like mad and goes everywhere.

Plus de saline:

@the_termin8r this looks like a really bad innuendo:

I didn’t know that cheescakes from plain cheese even exist

I didn’t either till @the_termin8r mentioned it.
