These are fresh dates from the tree. 3 different types of dates. You can kind of see in some of the ripened ones the resemblance to the dried ones. I haven’t seen them in Europe or North America, and ironically, it’s not as widely available here as the usual dried ones that you get everywhere else. I haven’t seen these in ages. This is from a friend’s tree.

there’s Pinole too ground up dry maize/corn and idk what else that’s a sandy powder that we put in milk and other drinks it’s delicious though 
You should write ‘tacos’ or ‘tacoses’ if you have taco(only one) I will not share It doesn’t pay to have just one

Oh on side note I just thought of another sandy tasting thing- mazapán-it’s a peanut based candy formed into a little puck
It’s a skill being able to unwrap them without breaking them apart

The good thing about the sheep break out.
I collected some blackberries, while I worked the fences.
And now having brunch (I never eat something in the morning) indoors with hot tee and blasting @rickvanmeijel and @IllWill33 s new cooperation
