Nah, they usually get announced 1 week - 3 days prior to the show. On the actual sign up page it says the content ends in 11 days, so we’ll probably find out July 31st / Aug 1st.
They probably won a contest or something for a guaranteed M&G.

Yes I won “visit west Hollywood’s” contest & am bringing my good friend Brandon for obvious reasons lol…
Hey guys…!! by the way what time do you think it would be cool to be there at…???
Hoping someone can help… At the time when the tickets went on sale, I was having trouble accessing the site cause all I had was my cell phone… so I have my husband become a member and by the tickets. To make a long story short… he’s been incarcerated and won’t be out in time for the concert… Is there anyway I can get in without him being present? Can I take his ID and show it at the will call? I know the policy says no name change on the tickets… I was just hoping LPU could help me out.
I’m sorry to hear about your husband. You can call ground control & ask them to change the name the will call name is under. Hopefully you still have time with the show being next week.
So basically my game plan is to get to will call, with my id and lpu badge, get a wristband, and get to LP’s stage and just stay there til they play (and starve lol). Hopefully other LPU members in the section will be nice enough to keep room for you if you go to the restroom or something.
But what time should I be walking up to will call?

Does anybody know when the will call opens? I figure for the people who are going to get there really early (that are also picking up tickets at will call), the best bet is to line up early without the ticket, and then when the will call opens we can hold each other’s spots and pick our tickets up one by one.
Thoughts?

What do you mean line up without tickets? Line up where?
From the other LP festival shows I’ve been to, there’s usually a designated line up spot. People line up there with their tickets, then at a certain time they let you in and people run to the stage.
I assume it would be the same idea here, we have to line up somewhere, but we don’t have our tickets until we get them from will call (which is probably located in a different spot).
Someone correct me if I’m wrong though, maybe it doesn’t work like that in the US.
Change of idea. I actually won’t wait ALL DAY to get front row. I’ve been to 14 LP shows, 2 DBS show and 1 FM show in the past and I was front row for almost all of them. I want to actually enjoy the festival and check out other bands (especially Julien-K, haven’t seen them since '07!) and be able to eat and drink and enjoy myself. It’s no fun waiting in line from sunrise, and then rushing to the front row and waiting literally all day and night. I will still get into the LPU section, but I won’t push to be at the front. I hope I get a M&G. This show will be epic.

Alright, well I’m counting on you guys to help me out lol since I’ve never been to anything like this. Wear your LPU shirts so I can find you!
I definitely will make sure that I get my LPU wristband so I can get into the LPU only section. I will get to the show very early to ensure this. It sucks that Julien-K is playing at the Viper Room stage, I won’t be able to see them if I wait for LP. I am going to try and get front row in the LPU section, so there would be no way for me to see them. It really all boils down to if I get a meet and greet or not. If I do, I can just get there early to get the LPU wristband and then I will be able to see Julien-K probably, because I’d have to give up my front row spot to see LP anyways. If I don’t get a meet and greet, I might just tough it out and try to be front row for LP.
So it looks like the first time for the stage that LP will be on is 3:30, will they clear it after each performance? Or should the ones who want to be in the front stand through all the performances in the front? How are they gonna do the special LPU section if there’s a bunch of bands there continuously?
LP will be on at 9:30

If you want to be at the very front, you’ll have to stand there through all the bands.
So the show has happened, pretty epic.
It was f&*#@ AWESOME!!! LP and LPU came through…with the e-mail showing where to park for $10 and the wristbands taking you into the exclusive front center of the stage area!!! THANK YOU! OMG the boys were HOT!!! The music kicked ass lots of energy and all my favorite songs!!! Opened with “A Place For My Head”! And played Waiting for the end and In the end and Lies Greed Misery and all the other GREAT SHIT. I danced around like crazy I NEEDED that!! Thank you BOYZ!! And I was screaming, shouting and singing so much my MOUTH hurts…DAMN! My tongue is sore TOO FUNNY! I can imagine what Chester must feel like…though he’s used to it by now, goddam can he shout it out! They all rocked. It was awesome!!! XXXOOO !
