STP members Dean DeLeo, Robert DeLeo and Eric Kretz made their live debut with Chester Bennington at KROQ’s Weenie Roast in May. Since their surprise performance, the band has been busy working on new music for an upcoming EP to be released this fall.

In an effort to take control of the way they will be delivering new music in the future, STP will release the upcoming EP via their own label, with distribution through ADA (Alternative Distribution Alliance).

“We’re very ambitious about the future of making music,” said Robert DeLeo. “The process and intention of creating it is so much more gratifying.”

The debut single from the new STP lineup, Out of Time is currently Top 5 at Active Rock radio and climbing fast.

“We’ve been writing new material and visiting songs from our early albums,” says Robert. “ It all feels new again and we’re excited to get out and play a solid set of songs both old and new.”

Is anyone going to one of the shows on the STP tour?

I’ll definitely be at Huntington and Vegas. (It conveniently worked out that the Vegas show is the same weekend I’d planned to be in Vegas to see Motley Crue’s Intimate Evening in Hell residency.)

I’ll probably also go to Bethlehem. My brother lives 15 minutes from there, so I can catch a casino bus out to the Sands and the crash at his house.

I’ll maaaaaybe hit Atlantic City, too, but hotels in Atlantic City are stupid expensive for how gross it is there!

Not going, but have fun everyone who is…

Luckily for my wallet they’re not coming to Europe for now (Saving money for LP shows in Europe after next album release).

If they were to play a liiiittle closer to home, and if it weren’t wor my work schedule, I’d probably consider it

I will be going to the Boston, MA show and I can’t wait for the EP.

oh man I wish I could go :stuck_out_tongue: but everyone totally needs to share a heap of photos and stuff

Cool to see a couple people going. I will go to the show in Arizona Sept 26 since its only a couple miles away.

I’ll be going to the Vegas show, since I live in Vegas. Can’t wait to see Chester perform with STP:)

I bought my ticket for the Boston show today! Pit! Super excited! : ]

Sad that I’m living in Europe(( I would like to go! I like Stone Temple Pilots and it would be awesome to hear their songs with Chester’s voice. Any way,I wish everyone (who will be there) have a fun and enjoy these concerts))

P.S can’t wait for STP’s EP! o

Cool, I hope they tour Australia!

No, because I don’t live in the USA, but Stone Temple Pilots is an awesome band, and Chester Bennington is doing a great job in the studio and live too. Of course Sott Weiland was a great singer too, but he couldn’t reach some notes, and sometimes, he was totally drunk. i hope they play in Brazil soon!
