I have a question 
How do you decide where to start adding colours? Or black in this case?

I start with biggest areas of black color (i wanna see in short time that i do something there ) because it’s the easiest way to do some visible shapes there…but doesn’t matter where i start, i have pencil sketch on the canvas and cover it by painting…if i wanna paint eyes, then i do it…if i wanna paint beard, then i do it

How do you take care of proportions in such a biiggg canvas!? 
First i did it normally…just slowly drawing of sketch and take care of proportions but then i found good cheat data-projector…it saves time so much, you are much more faster…i just do the basic shapes with it for good placement of composition and then i paint
