This album confused me when it first came out, because I was used to the old era Linkin Park back then with the stuff from Hybrid Theory and Meteora as well as the stuff on Minutes to Midnight, which I didn’t listen to as much as the other two although I liked the album as a whole.
It also confused me because their wasn’t as much guitar as much as on other albums, as they were trying to replace it with more electronic and experimental music, but after a few more listens it just started to win me over.
Now its definitely my favourite album by them to date as it just broke new ground for them and changed their sound in a good way.
Favourites for me would be Waiting for the End and Burning in the Skies
