Random Thoughts Thread: The Reunion!

I don’t see that link on there, I’m trying to look around regardless though

Silly me, I linked the wrong page

https://web.archive.org/web/20080730121342/http://www.lptimes.com:80/media/media.html

Scratch that, it defaults.

It’s the top link on the Miscellaneous tab.

Is it closer to this, but a different show?

Precisely.

Well I had Google accuse me of being a robot for making too many searches, but haven’t found anything, unfortunately. I’ll give it another shot tomorrow

What’s funny is that video was probably buried in my favorites video playlist on YouTube, because I went to add it, and I removed it instead. I added it back.

What happened? Beyond current events

This is the story I heard from my mom, I was asleep when this all happened.

A neighbor who lives across the street from me (she’s probably in her late 60s, early 70s), her 98-year-old mother lived just a couple blocks from here, and she was walking over to her mom’s house with a plate of cookies.

As she approached the house, she immediately saw the smoke, and the fire crew had just pulled her mother’s body from the house.

My mom was in her office at work doing taxes (since we don’t have a working desktop at home), and saw the firetrucks and the smoke, and the crew by the hydrant on the street just outside where she was, so she took a walk up and saw our neighbor just beside herself and her husband standing over her just shaking his head.

I think at this point, my neighbor’s just hoping with the autopsy that she died of natural causes in her kitchen, rather than having to die at the hands of the flames.

In addition, we’ve also lost two neighbors on this street this year.

Oh god, that’s terrible… at her age I can’t imagine her having been able to protect herself from it but then from what they wrote it seems she was found away from the flames?
If there’s somewhat of a positive thing in it, she lived more than most have a chance to :J…
I hope none of the other losses have been crime related though? 2017 has been hard to deal with

My other neighbors died more or less naturally. This block is mostly older people, or people that have been living here since my parents moved in.

I wondered about the neighborhood…then the younger folk come in
My family’s place over here is terrible haha were in decent pocket streets but the surrounding ones are crappy-thefts, racing, a number of shootings
