I love sparkling water when it’s hot, I feel like it’s more refreshing. But I go for still when the weather is cold (always cold water though, from the fridge, can’t drink room temp water)
What’s so bad about room temp water?
I just hate anything fizzy like that. And the fact that it’s just fizz with no flavor whatsoever is insane. Idk how anyone can willingly ingest it.
I don’t like the taste of it so I can drink it only if it’s cool.
Water doesn’t taste of anything though.
I was like: seriously hot sparkling water?
.
OT
I always drank sparkling water. Till I did the US road trip. You get still water for free there. So I just had that.
I remember as I came back. I was so excited to finally getting my sparkling water back. This first gulp.
And the huge disappointment.
I couldn’t stand it anymore.
Still not changed.
I just like still water.
Or sparkling water with white wine.
So not true.
I usually drink still water because i don’t buy plastic bottles of water. I can drink sparkling water but it’s not my favorite drink.
Water has taste, depends on the calcium / magnesium or other things there is in it. The water i love is the one i get when i go on the mountains.
I can’t stand the taste of sparkling water
Yeah I’m with you there, I only like cold water too. Apparently it’s better to drink slightly warm water but it just isn’t enjoyed.
Depends- after a big lunch sparkling bc of the bluuuurp effect
Generally I’m out of trend of drinking water. I’d rather drink tea or coffee. Especially when it’s cold.
It must be very hot if I decide to drink water.
I vote for still water because sparkling water tastes terrible after there are no bubbles there anymore.
Still water. Simple and pure
This one applies to people in the UK, but if you have access to them outside of the UK or have tried them both, do feel free to vote.
My sister and I were arguing about Jaffa Cakes the other day. I’m partial to the Lidl knock-offs, she likes the legit McVitie’s ones (I think they’re a tad too dry and don’t have enough of the orange jelly stuff). Which do you prefer?
- Original McVitie’s
- Lidl Knock-off

I don’t think I’ve ever tried the Lidl ones. I understand that the Tesco / Asda own brand items often come from the same production line as the originals e.g. cereals, so these could be made at the same factory too? I’m guessing the McVities chocolate topping might be better quality though.
The Lidl ones are have more consistent and neat chocolate that doesn’t crumble as much or melt as easily. Yes…even German food is better built than anything British these days.
No, British chocolate tastes better than German. It has the right level of sweetness and smoothness. Fight me.
I am not a fan of those cakes in general so either would be fine for me I guess.
I’m talking about build quality, not taste. You can’t taste the chocolate on any Jaffa cakes, regardless of who made them.
Even?
Everybody here knows, that you just can’t eat British food
