Quality & contents of future LPU packages

So it’s been a while after receiving my LPU12 package. And I have to say, that I’m not satisfied with the quality of the shirt. I washed it only 2 times yet and the red colour has already began to bleach out. I won’t imagine, how it will looks after more wash cyles. Does anybody else have that bleaching problem?

I never had such issues with other LPU shirts so far. I guess it’s a matter of the amount of our LPU fees that were taken for the shirt purchases.

I don’t know how you other guys think about it, but for me the shirt is one of the most important components of the LPU packages. And therefore it would be nice, if LPUHQ chooses good quality shirts. I know, that is a question of money. But future I would prefer a high quality shirt instead of additional items in the package.

How do other LPU members think about that?

I’m a lil bit shocked :S I’ve never worn or washed it, I will avoid to, since I’ve read this…

I saw A LOT of people not satisfied with the quality of the shirt too… they had the same problem. knowing about that, unfortunately, I’ll not use and wash it.

To be honest, when I received the package the box was totally in a bad condition. Because of that I did not get Guitar Pick. Ok I did not raise a complaint for that small stuff. But When I looked at the Shirt, I felt the quality was not good and I did not even wash it till today. LPU 11 shirt was really good and I expected much better in LPU12 but not !

I do not know whether everybody experienced the same but for me LPU12 package meant nothing except CD and water bottle !

The condition of the packages are not in their control, though. Post your complaint with your post office.

I have washed my shirt 3 times already and it’s fine.

I do prefer the shirts from LPUX and LPU11 though, but only because they were softer. And I personally hate it when a square/rectangular design is just slapped on in the center, but that’s just me.

When DCshoes made the shirts, they were great. When that stopped, I stopped wearing them.

Yeah my LPU 6 shirt which is DC Shoes is still going strong and I wear it at least twice a week.
After reading all the comments I think i’ll be using my LPU12 shirt as a display shirt in my music lab

I have
LPU3 (itchy and harsh material)
LPU9 (a bit long for some reason)
LPUX (stitching came undone)
LPU11 (Perfect in every single way)
LPU12 (The red has faded a little, but it doesn’t put me off)

X, 11, 12 had comfortable shirts. I prefer them.

The old DC shirts were much better. I have to concur, the quality has declined considerably despite frequent price increases.

Mine came with 2 holes. I had a new one sent to me by the end of the week.

But yeh the black t’s from 11 were a lot nicer to wear texturally, and the fit was better also.

I would have prefer this current shirt if they dyed it all the red and let it fade out in the wash.

Wow, it’s kinda shockin’ to hear the issues you got with that the shirt.
Mine is fine and by now - I don’t have anything negative to say about the whole package. But since you’re all havin’ trouble with it, I think LP shall rethink their choice of merchandise.

But again, mine’s fine, and I’m happy we are able to get stuff like that at all.

The only thing that made me a little bit curious is, that the inlay of the LPU12 CD seems to be kind of cheap and a little bit wavy. Nothin’ huge, but after recieving two LPU1 CD’s in broken cases, in a row, I kinda figured out that it’s…let’s say…they don’t seem to improve anything about this [lol]

I wasn’t part of LPU before LPU8, but 8 and 9’s shirts were nice, and I bought some older shirts too and they are good, too, but the arm tag tends to get itchy sometimes. I don’t like the material the newer shirts are made of, being sort of stretchy

Lots of friends told me about this, that’s why I came here. Now I’m afraid of washing it. I’m not sure if mine will bleach too but I knew that shirt was not so good quality since the first time I saw it…

I only have the LPU 6 and 9 shirts. I see nothing wrong with either of them. Both are comfortable. I don’t know about the new ones.
