Problem with Stagelight

Hey guys,

I just downloaded stagelight through the lpu mail (it was actually the full version despite what people are saying around here), but it seems to be really killing my cpu. It runs super slow and heavy, even though I have a usb audio interface connected. It totally freezes on Mike’s ‘Complimentary’ song. Does anyone experience the same difficulties? My settings seem to be fine (not that there is much to choose from :stuck_out_tongue: ).

I just cannot install the program… [sad]

LOL how can yours be the full version and everyone else’s the trial?

Mine is the full one, also

Ahem. You have to enter your login passsword, and the Open Labs product code afterwards, not the trial code. You got that in separate email.

As for the lags issues… What kind of system you have? Check if you’re using 64bit ASIO Driver in Stagelight options.

I even can’t download. Google Chrome writes the page doesn’t exist when I press the button.

Try deleting history and then start again. Or else just download from Mozilla.

I downloaded demo and entered the key got from LPU mail. Everything is working fine but the problem is I don’t know how to work with that Software :stuck_out_tongue: I will try to learn it.
I listened to the Complementary song in youtube but I don’t know how to listen it from the software. (Btw I downloaded a 700kb .exe for which there was link in LPU mail and installed it but then I don’t know what happened to it !)
Thank you LPU for their effort

I can’t even run the programme cause it seems I need more Ram. Which SUCKS!!

I downloaded Stagemight yesterday, but I can’t listen any songs (the son is turned on, and it works)… Am I the only one ?

No you’re not. I downloaded the demo version (I got 2 keys as you guys say and used the promotion one, not the trial one but I still got the trial and not the full software), opened it and everything worked fine until I pressed play. No sound at all. Checked my settings, the software’s settings, everything but nothing happened so I simply un-installed. I don’t see why I should bother since it was just a trial thing.

I’ve got the same problem, too… used the product code (not the trial) and everything is working perfectly. There’s just no sound.

I saw no “trial software”. I’m almost sure there was only one download and what it lets you do on it depends on what one of the two codes you enter

I also can’t seem to get any sound out it, and I was told to use the trial code, not the full product key. Should I uninstall and reinstall it and use the product key?

I have the same problem. It caused my computer to run slow. Mine also said that it was a trial and it would end on the 27th. I followed what the email said, so I’m not sure why a few people only got the trail and others got the full version.

I’d try uninstalling and trying again, but there might be a way to enter the full code somewhere. As with others, my computer is too slow to actually run it. And I’m almost positive that everyone that got the trial code got the full code, too. They both sent to me. The trial email was labeled “Trial Code - StageLight”, the full email was labeled “Thanks for Registering - OpenLabs!”

Hey, have the same problem, no sound. But I just tried it with headphones and it worked, but only on one channel (i.e. only on the left side). That’s not really a satisfying solution, but I’m sure they will take a look into it in the coming days…[smile]

I cannot figure out how to listen to the complimentary song on the program either.

To open Complementary, after downloading the EXE, install it, then open StageLight, go to “Fresh Start Project”, then click Menu > File > Open Song, then click on “Complementary3”. It should automatically be on the location of “C:\Open Labs Library\Songs”, but if not, switch it to that. Also, remember that the sound has been having issues with most people. You can try to export the song by clicking Menu > File > Save Song, but when I attempted this it distorted some of the instruments

I’m happy that it works perfectly for me. Being used to other music production softwares like Ableton,
FL Studio etc. Stagelight is pretty easier to create music. I have already created a track. Thanks to Mike for working with Openlabs to create a software for music lovers. And many thanks to LPU for giving the product for free to all the LPU members

==>To all those experiencing no sound, try installing or re-installing your ASIO drivers on your computer. The sample rate used in the complementary song or the demos are higher than what you listen to on your computer. Install the driver from the link given below. I think that might solve your problem
