I truly feel the same way too because no matter who sing they couldn’t hold a long a note like Chester can.

I don’t think anyone was trying to be as amazing as him, they were tributing him. I think everyone felt Chester’s void. No one will ever come close!!! Mike’s song was heartbreaking. I think whats the hardest now for me is hearing their music…and how this profound loss made all their lyrics to date so relevant. The next direction of the band for the foreseeable future should be to heal. They are still sooo devastated. Amazingly stoic what they did, but it was for us…the fans. The event was perfect and so well done- not surprised. The guys are such gentlemen and are so loved by their peers. Whats most important now for them though, is they need to mourn the loss of their dear friend, bandmate, husband, father, brother, and son. My heart bleeds for LP and family. I wish them nothing but love and support through this grieving process and will welcome them with open arms when and if they are ready. In the meantime, I will honour them and Chester by rocking out to their music every chance I get!! #makechesterproud #fuckdepression :sunglasses::metal:

Yes…just yes. Everything you said is right. Those musicians weren’t trying to imitate or replace. They were showing love for their friend and our hero Chester. I’m proud of all of them especially our LP guys. Mikes song “Looking for the answers” was heartbreaking but wonderful. Hated seeing him hurt while singing that song and the end when the lights dim it looked like he lost it and I don’t blame him. He wrote an incrediblely emotional and raw song. Just amazing night  Now I look forward to supporting them no matter what they do or when they do it. I have their back always
