After being apart of the Citi Field Memorial I wanted to do something special. We had so many people show up to the stadium, I brought my own guitar and I wasn’t exactly sure how it was going to turn out but I met some incredible people that are now friends. I ended up playing ‘Shadow of the Day’, ‘Leave Out All the Rest’, ‘In The End’, ‘Numb’ and a little ‘Rolling in the Deep’ (my favorite cover performance Mike and Chester did) literally just outside Citi Field surrounded by roughly 200 other fans and they all sang along. Even just today, Corey Taylor of Slipknot/Stone Sour saw my SOTD performance with everyone on Instagram and like it. It’s been crazy.
