Opinions. NME gives 4 stars to everything Kasabian shits out.
Not a big fan of OML myself. The whole album sounds pretty much the same.
Personal highlights: One More Light and Heavy.
In general the songs sounds way better live.

There are lots of reviewers giving that opinion, just taking it as another pop album and not taking in mind the personal music journey of the band besides just their albums and music. Everything from a āNu Metal bandā perspective but they are not able to dig into the music and artistic way. Just look at what it says, the only good track is Good Goodbye. Once you listen to the album youāll see how wrong it is lol
I personally donāt care of reviews anymore because when they give 2 stars to a song, I personally end up enjoying it.
Anyway, Iāll listen to it later

Ok, I just listened to the new album, Iāll wait for everyone else to check it so we could talk about the songs, but for me, in a nutshell this album was a brave move by LP, elements weād never figure out by them, vocal styles and more sounds into their style is what I found here. You can hear how free they felt musically without hide anything, thereās some flexibility along the tracks.
It sounds also like a āWelcome Linkin Park to 2017ā record lol
It was good, being mentally prepared for what was coming these 3 months and get into the context of the whole record would make you enjoy this album for sure.

Donāt post directions on how to find the leaks either. Thereās no reason the official forum should have posts promoting piracy for an album that will be released in two days. I know most, if not all, of you pre-ordered the album, but regardless, donāt spread leak information here.
Itās only two more days, you can wait that long. Even if you donāt like the direction this album is going, you can at least respect the band enough to hold out considering how much love they seem to have put into this album. And if you REALLY canāt hold off, Iām sure you can find it without looking here

This album is a complete NO for me. I would rank this album to be at the bottom of all the 7 studio albums. Atleast the wait is over for me. It was a pleasure reading this thread
Iām going to hold off from leaks completely this time around, but in the situation that my package arrives early, Iām going to listen to it early

I just spent my entire afternoon catching up on all the interviews theyāve done for this album so far. Reminded me why I still love and respect them so much. I might not like the music anymore but damn, they are amazing people.
Lots of people seem to have already listened to the new album, opinions vary. Iām still waiting for the 19th. (Is there a listening party happening this time around btw?)
