"One More Light" Mega-Topic, Out Now!

I saw it, people is too closed, same happened with ATS, it was too much for us at those years and those rock /metal websites just destroyed it with ignorance.

What really makes me get mad is that people didn’t give it a chance because they trust on their favourite reviewers and they are not able to try it by themselves…

True.
I really don’t care about reviews, but I thought it was a funny read.

Out of topic but I just want to say it was a good day for me and any other Imagine Dragons and X Ambassadors follower here since both released new songs today lol

It helps to wait for OML patiently

I thought the Imagine Dragons song sucked. Fall Out Boy’s new song however went the Linkin Park OML route. Sounded different, definitely more electronic, yet pretty great.

@tenkaichi I HATED Fall Out Boy’s New song. That chorus is so annoying with the pitch-shifted vocals soaring from the highest possible squeels to the lowest possible groans. It’s just obnoxious. And for a rock band, one guitar strum in the bridge does not count as live instrumentation. Linkin Park makes sure everyone has something to do when they go electronic, and they usually still include the guitars. And yes, Linkin Park isn’t really using any live instrumentation anymore, but at least there isn’t any annoying choruses like in Young And Menace. At least I haven’t heard any yet.

Out of topic but I really liked the new FOB song. Those weird vocal glitches… I actually like em.

I’d appreciate some help from you guys. Here in the states, the LP Tour will be going to major cities, and the #1 and #2 fans in each city, dictated by a point system, will get to meet the band.

I’m in San Diego, so unless you’re in SD, don’t worry, we’re not competing against each other. Just sign up for Ticketmaster using your Facebook account, and input my code in the “Referred by” area. All that’ll do is increase my chance of being the #1 fan based on points. It’ll also scan to see if you pre ordered the album (based on your email) and throw me some points. I’m finally out of the military, and now that I have the time, I’d really love to meet the band that I’ve loved ever since 2005 when I was in 5th grade.

My code is: mmar60
You can also input this if you’ve already made an account.

That was simple, you got one
If you can get me back that’d be awesome (fra692)
I’m up north in sacramento (not really much open fan base here)
Good luck :+1:

Lyrics from Heavy or another song on that sheet of paper? Its impossible to read anyway.

Another song.

There are too many lines to be “Heavy.”

Even if there 2 or more songs there, any match with Heavy.

Anyone hear the latest Heavy remix? They’re really trying to push out as many different versions as they can, aren’t they?

I liked it better than the first remix from last week
Though at times this one feels too busy
Personally I like the fact that the original is “stripped” per se because it conveys a different tone that fits with the lyrics
It’s meant to be a lyrically heavy song yet the remixes are too upbeat but that’s just me, I’ll keep the original
