The whole album. I have been thinking about it today while I was in college today just about it today and hearing the interviews with Mike and Chester today made me feel better about it especially with how it will sound like. Chester rapping? I’m in!!! And I love to hear Mike’s work too.
However if I had to choose one song, it would be the title track.

Chester rapping = Blackout 2 (without screaming)

I’m thinking about the same for One More Light. Inspired by a friend of Linkin Park and from what I heard of a interview with Mike, she passed away from cancer. If this song is as good as what the band says, this will put me in tears.

I don’t want to get too personal on this topic but my father had cancer 12 years ago. Luckily he is still here with me and I would listen to LP songs constantly. That is why each of them are an inspiration for me. (Sorry if I have depressed the mood of the new album)

I don’t have instagram. Can you show is screen shots? Also I LOVE twenty øne piløts!

There is basically only his face - I cannot attach the photos😭

This place has been active. So far I’ve picked out that Chester will have a rap part (a small bridge I’m guessing) and that Heavy is a little more “eccentric” than the other songs, meaning that Heavy might possibly be the poppiest.

Anything I missed?

I saw the interview, when he said eccentric he probably meant the way the song was written and came together?

Those sound like conflicting statements. Mike says Heavy is the core sound, but Chester says it’s the most different song on the record. I think either Chester is trying to get the fanbase back on board, or Mike is trolling again.

Chester did a lot of work today. A lot of interviews. He actually hyped me up more with the news about the album.

let me express my thoughts about the new single.
as usually i see thousands of feelings going throughout the song, and its really emotional, but theres nothing original in the way it sounds! I was extremely surprised to hear Chesters voice in combination with such a melody…I was listening to it, not believing this were the people who created hybrid theory and meteora. LP music has been always known as unusual, moving, dynamic! and i loved lp for that music! and now the melodies are so simplified, not lp at all! Of course it depends on the bands feelings and emotions right now, and yes, lp is known for experimenting…but that is not the kind of music i am used to, not the kind of music i loved at first, not what i was waiting for! i still hope to hear something incredible but damn who knows will i ever see the comeback of the creativity of oldschool lp music. im not asking to make a second hybrid theory, but want to hear something less close to…pop. thank you for attention.

I personally liked it when Korn tried something new. It was a shame that everyone was dissing it

It’s still Linkin Park, they’re still constantly changing their style. But it’s still them. I can’t wait to hear Good Goodbye

You know, I remember when Meteora came out there were a lot of critics saying it was nothing but Hybrid Theory part 2, that the band had to ask themselves where do they wanted to go from there… When they changed things a bit in MTM, first time I heard “What I’ve Done” I had the “What, this is not LP” reaction… my friend said I should give it a try and I did… and I don’t regret. The sound changed a bit, yes, but it was still LP. When ATS came out it was my turn to tell my friend to give it a try… and little after she loved the album. What I mean is: don’t judge a book by its cover, don’t judge an album by its single. “Heavy” is different, yes, but it’s just one song out of ten. Maybe it will not sound like the LP from HT, Meteora, etc., but it is still LP. So, give One More Light a try, perhaps it will surprise you…
