Did you study Linkin Park Fan-ology that you can tell whoâs a real fan or who not? Thatâs the biggest bs. I have read from all the butthurt replies to my comment. Its bs level is so high, I even have to reply to you directly.
Fyi, I know really well that they love to experient and donât define themselves on one genre. They always wanted to try out something new, itâs the idea behind the name Linkin Park. But you cannot tell me that doing a basic, common & mainstream pop song is experimenting around. Then all the trillions of mainstream pop artists must be experimenting too. ATS was a risky experiment, which I loved. That was the peak of experimenting. But just going for a mainstream pop song is not. Thatâs why I can say with a clear conscience that that is not what Linkin Park is supposed to be. In the worst case, you can call it a sellout if you see it that negatively, like some other people do. If you read my comment again, it is more about how I dislike the way the quality has been heading over the years and why I think that this has nothing to do Linkin Park, not as Nu Metal band, but as experimenting and what they can deliver. Itâs not that I want them to go back to HT, I wouldnât even want that. I only said one of the greatest rock band of all times because thatâs their reputation, so why not using it.
Ah and btw. the quote was about how Hybrid Theory has been made, by the influence of all the genres that they like.
Fans like you and many others are the worst and sadly those who they are looking for. Thinkin you know everything better just because you go with the flow and, therefore, labling other fans as not real fans cuz they donât go with it⌠Just bruh. Would be even worse if you even the type that just blindly likes something because it has the name Linkin Park on it.

Who are you to make that decision, though? Dislike the song all you want, Iâd be lying if I said I loved every Linkin Park song, but I canât and wonât decide what is or isnât Linkin Park.
Linkin Park isnât going to change how they sound because the fans donât like it, weâve seen this year after year. I would prefer a more rock based album, too, but it donât happen. They make what they want

After listening to it a lot today as well as yesterday, I still stand by what I said yesterday. Love Robâs drums, love the song and the lyrics and Kiiaraâs vocals, more Chester needed, more original sounds should be put in. Overall 4.5/5
