I saw somewhere it had been confirmed that there will be new artwork for the new album - but that’s obvious. I am curious as to whether we can expect a completely new LP logo?
They renewed the logo after 2 albums. Will they renew it again?
Thoughts? Ideas?
I haven’t heard anything about the art style so far. Any links?
Haven’t heard anything but I don’t think we’ll get a new logo. We got one with ATS so…
Just gonna have to wait till we get official news from the band :).

Same logo for Minutes to Midnight & A Thousand Suns. They renewed after 2 albums.
I havn’t seen anything yet. But I remember Mike mentioning new art… I am just hoping that means everything including the logo.

Technically, the changed their logo during the early Meteora days. They went from the stencil font to that gothic font…

Almost the same. It changed a bit for ATS and we got the new symbols as well.
What Mike has to say about the new artwork:
“I’m really excited for people to see what the online component of the release of this next record is going to be. It’s not fully formulated yet, but it’s going to be great. I think the art is just going to blow them away, because there is a tech aspect to the actual art of the album that is very cutting edge and to me it’s mind blowing. This is stuff that without giving it away at this point, I know I have not ever seen this done anywhere and maybe it’s too subtle for most people to get. The average person is not going to be able to look at it and go, I understand that that’s completely new, like not just the image but the way they made the image is totally new. So there’s going to be that. In addition to that, we hope that the roll out of the record has something that can excite the fan base in the way active.”
