It’s time I parted ways with my old iPhone. Currently backing it up (will take forever) but will be worth it in the end. I hope I made the right choice with the new one I chose.

iPhone 6 to iPhone XR.

I wanted the X but people I know that have it advised me against it and the guys at the Apple store also told me it’s better to get the XR.

The X is currently out of production but they will re-launch it next week. My main concern with the XR is the size. I was afraid it’s going to be too bloody big but I saw it up close and it’s actually alright.

The first day will be super weird but within the first week if you ever grab one of the older generations, you’re like wth is this?!
It’s hardly much bigger in size than the 6 in terms of size though :slightly_smiling_face:

I’m really not impressed with the specs on that phone. My S7 is a whole 2 years older (which with phones is a century) and it’s still better.

@framos1792 I know :stuck_out_tongue: I’m so ready to get hit with the new-ness of it. I’m so looking forward to playing with the camera too! Size wise, I was just scared at first cause going from 4.8 to 6.1 is a big jump but when I saw it up close I was like, oh it’s fine. it’s all screen and so pretty!

@the_termin8r Don’t get me wrong, the S models are pretty legit. If I didn’t love Apple this much, I’d probably have one of those. My dad won the S8 last year and he’s been having trouble with it. He can’t get used to it (he’s been an iPhone user for years before that) and he hates the curved screen. But, its camera is pretty amazing! (And ok, we know Apple uses Samsung screens).

But yeah, the size increase is in going from corner to corner of the glass, the footprint itself is pretty close :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
