Thought i’d see what military members in the LPU we have out there? If so where are you from, where were/are you stationed? What’s your AFSC/MOS/JOB?

I’m out of the Indiana Air Reserve at the 434 ARW Grissom ARB, IN. I’m in services but soon to be cross training into FUELS specialist. I’ve been to Lackland AFB, TX of course, but for 7 months, did training at Scott AFB, IL for two weeks and Fort Lee, VA for 3 months. Been great experiences of course. And i’ve been in for over 2 years now.

Looking forward to seeing what other branches we have out there! HOOYAH AIR FORCE!

I serviced in Finnish Defence Forces six months this year, but the thing is that here in Finland military is different. But it was fun and I never will forget those six months! I was in earth forces thought.

I’m not military, but I come from an extensive military family. My dad and uncle served in the Navy, my grandparents were in the Army, my dad’s cousin was in the Air Force, and my brother is trying to get in the Marines.

Thank you to everyone who’s serving now or has served, putting yourselves on the line for us.

Awesome! Great to see some Air Force in the house! Foreign military is awesome! I have a friend in the Norway Army (I don’t know the official title of their Army.) He loves it.

I’m looking at doing a tour in Alaska next year hopefully. Fingers Crossed.

Wow…a lot of Air Force here

I’m a veteran myself. Marine Corps. Got out June 2012. Got back from Afghanistan April 2012. So it’s not that long ago. MOS is 0352 – Infantry- Anti-tank Missileman. I was stationed at Camp Pendleton, CA. I’ll post a picture here soon. :wink:

I’m not military. But first things first, Thank you to all those who have served!

I just found out a couple years ago, from looking up where my grandpa is buried, that he was in the US Army and served World War II. My dad was in the Navy. My cousin is in Marine boot camp in San Diego and a friends brother is a Marine. An ex from high school is in the Air Force. I believe my stepmom’s father and an old neighbor from out of state both also were in the Army and served in WWII. A woman I play Bunco with, Her husband was in the Army years ago and she has sons and a couple of grandsons in the Army as well. I think some of my great uncles might have been Military, but not quite sure. Oh and I live like 45 minutes or so from Scott AFB in Illinois, my mom had a friend who’s husband was in the Air force and lived on base there.

I need to add:

My friend’s husband is in the Army and a friend of my stepmom has two nephews, one in the Marines and one in the Army.
