Meet & Greet Questions

I’ve been selected for the meet & greet tomorrow, but is still in shock about how awesome this is!

Does anyone have great suggestions as to what I can talk to them about or ask them?

First question: When will you be coming back to SA:-)?

what happens to the 100’s of tracks considered not good enough for the albums on release, do they get stored in some secret Linkin Park end of days bunker, or are they literally discarded and forgotten about

In the song high voltage is there made mention to X-men / mutant / super powers in the verses, always wondered that

Seeing that the band is a family is Rob treated like the little brother

Who is the prankster in the group

and finally When can we expect to see Linkin Park in South Africa again? Surely this cant be a once off?

Sad and jealous about not being selected for M&G, and coz of the birth of my baby boy not being able to the Summit , but still glad to see them perform

There wont be time for “Talk”. At most you wll get one sentence in… At the Cape Town summit… We stood in a line and they walked past us to sign our merch. no time for questions or “talkies”

Did they at least greet and say howzit?

What Llewellyn said is true.
In the M&G I attend, I just tell them from where I am, that I would love see them in my country too and no more. If the LP member wait a little bit more, maybe you can ask just one question.

In my case, Chaz waited a little bit in front of me and my friend and It was a chance for me to give him a gift and explain it a little.

Nope… No Questions… and Chaz was a bit rude to us.

Only one who showed any interest was Mister Rob Bordon. HE was quite awesome and interacted alot. Mike was friendly as well.

go and sue them then hahahaha

I thought they were all very friendly and down to earth. Chaz was very talkative and poor Phoenix said hi in the dressing room, but no one seemed to recognize him. Thought that was a bit odd seeing die hard LP fans not recognize the bands bass player??

Phoenix is the most friendly, ask him, he’ll respond! Chester and Mike don´t talk too much, usually they just say “thanks”, but Mike is more sympathetic. The M&G is fast, so enjoy as much as possible

Rude? What happened?

I agree with Heloisa, Phi is the one who use to talk more.
If I have to say who’s less friendly, I’d say Joe, definitely.

thanks everyone! I’ve heard that there is some time for questions, but hey just to see them is good enough for me!!

I found them all really cool and really nice… my bro designed a logo for hoodies we had made and Mr Haan and Mike commented on it … Rob was saying how they were well rested…

I was going to ask this exact question but unfortunately I didn’t get selected… Still got the concert though  I wanted to ask Mike if he’d ever considered writing a song in japanese, seeing as it is the language of his forefathers as well as an extremely beautiful language

Here in Brazil I spent 1 minute talking to Phoenix. If you want talk with someone, Phoenix is the guy. Only him.

Awesome! Congrats!

Ask them about their travels?

What would they have been if not for LP?

Basic questions are fun  Try asking: ‘If you could go anywhere, what place would you visit?’
I asked Chester to say ‘brambles’ like he did in Buried at sea LPTV

I had absolutely the same experience at my Summit! xD
Meet and Greet you don’t really have any time to talk.
Maybe if you ask one of them to find you afterward to take a pic with you.
I heard that Mike usually does this if you ask :3

OH – And they will Not let you hug LP. They’ll tell you not to hug.

Also, congrats!

OMG poor Phoenix. It’s because I wasn’t there to give him the attention I always do. Hahaha.

On a serious note, I definitely agree that you should initiate conversation as well if you don’t think they’re saying much to you. I’ve only met the band once as a whole and met Phoenix Hahn & rob once before that. The only one I didn’t get to talk to was brad but that was because I held the line up talking to Phoenix. He didn’t mind though. He got some special gifts from me.

Next time, put yourself in their shoes & treat them the way you wanna be treated. Don’t set such high expectations. They’re people too. Maybe they got annoyed with something a fan did or maybe even said. I’ve never heard of them being rude. Maybe rushed but never rude.

And how can the bass player not be acknowledged? I wish I got to see him at my backstage tour. Hope someone else talked to him cuz he’s my fave cuz of awesome he is.
