Meet And Greet With The Band In South Africa?

I have always dreamed of seeing LP live. I cannot contain myself, Watching Linkin Park live in concert has always been on the top of my bucket list since their inception as Xero. They are truly sonic alchemists and every single album they have put out has been a culmination of fearless artistic direction. I am so grateful that they have finally decided to pay us a visit. I want to attend both shows in South Africa, because, well, this is a once in lifetime deal. Does anyone know if we’ll have the opportunity to meet the band ? or if there are any VIP tickets or anything like that ? Meeting them would honestly make my entire life. So Here’s to seeing Chaz, Spike Minoda, Mr. Hahn, BBB, Rob and Phoenix soon!

I managed to meet them in Tokyo, there is an option under the events tab to apply for the meet and greet, it is totally random and up to chance if you get selected. They will email you if you are lucky enough to have been selected, you will need to reply to that email. You also only get to meet 2 of the band members and that too is random, you wont know until the night who you will get to meet. Good luck, maybe see you at the meet and greet.

I would kill for a meet and greet! Cannot wait to purchase tickets tomorrow morning…

The chance of a meet and greet is the main reason to sign up. Would be awesome to meet Mike or Chester. Totally with you on the going to both shows option. I’m putting in for leave tomorrow. I would have been so bleak had they announced a different band today.

I second that! Have flights booked to India for November 2nd but CANNOT miss this opportunity… feel like I’ve waited my whole life for LP to discover South Africa! Let’s give them the best reception ever so that it’s definitely not the last time we see the legends! [quote=Kayuran]I have always dreamed of seeing LP live. So Amped! Would be great to meet the band.

2012 has been pretty dull in terms of concerts in SA. So this more than makes up for it! And most of us have been patiently waiting for so long for LP to grace our shores!

I agree with you there!!! We have been waiting for years! Id love to meet them too!

I cannot think of a Bigger More Awesome concert than Linkin Park! They are totally rocking, and I have always wanted to see them live! To see them will be the best ever!

I don’t think I can write anything better that that. Well said Kayuran
All the fan’s patience has been rewarded, bring on Nov 10!!!

I had the wonderful opportunity to meet Chester at the Projekt Revolution Tour in NJ. There was no line and I was able to just walk right up to the booth, shake his hand, and have him sign my Projekt Revolution Poster along with Program for the tour. Best Day Ever and Im hoping to meet more band members next month when I see them in NJ again!

Good Luck!

Kayuran, I know exactly what you mean. I have been a dedicated fan throughout the years and I am really amped about the performances!

What I know about the meet up, is that one has to buy tickets, once then, you can sign up for a LPU Meet and Greet. They will contact you etc etc. Giving details etc. I think how it works is that you will meet Linkin Park a few hours before the actual show at the stadium I think.

Great to have a fellow South African fan alongside me
Are you going to go both? I intend to as well, but I have better chance attending the Johannesburg show.
