LPU Hangout/BBQ?

Hey fellow LPUers

I’ve been a fan of Linkin Park since 2000, been to a few concerts of theirs, and have met new people with the same interest as me…Hell, I’ve met my WIFE at their MTV Video Music Awards performance for The Catalyst.
This is just an idea but maybe if we have enough people it’ll probably work. When I saw Linkin Park at the House of Blues - LA, I noticed that there is not really any SOCIALIZED LP fans. I kinda wanna give the opportunity to have other LP fans get along with more LP fans. So I was thinking "Why not have a BBQ/Hangout at a beach or the park somewhere and just socialize and create a bigger Linkin Park family. What do you guys think? Will this actually happen? Who knows. Hit me up with any ideas/suggestions on what to do. I hope maybe LP themselves will go to this hangout and do more than just a Meet & Greet and actually get to KNOW their fans  (fingers crossed). I live in Delano,CA but I have relatives in LA and San Jose so…ANYWHERE in California would be good. I was thinking Griffith Park/Observatory. Let the comments begin!!! :stuck_out_tongue:

If it was on Long Island i’d go. good idea

I’m so down for a bbq in Griffith Park or even a beach would be cool! I’m in if it’s either in the LA or SD area

Griffith Observatory!

Great idea! i say at the Lincoln Park maybe  or griffin Observatory/Griffin Park is also great :), I live in The San Fernando Valley so im not that far away from LA

i think it’s a great idea …except i live in Australia…

Come to Prague!
It’s such a shame that my country is sooooo far from the US! But who knows - maybe one day I’ll be able to visit some “fan meeting” and I’ll meet you  I wanna visit the USA soo much, but I need money for it  So I’ll start save money and keep hoping

I could do Griffith Park Observatory…love going there anyway!

Hey Bud. Just try and take initiative and host one over there. We’ll call it the “LPU Cookout”

Ok Sweet. I guess Griffith Park is good also. Now, any activities? I’m just gonna bring my set with monitors and just play LP non-stop :stuck_out_tongue:
Food-wise…i think it should be a pot-luck. That way we each put something in. The food may be international to

The beach is also a possibility so that we can have a giant bonfire and share our Linkin stories! :DD
But either way is good haha.
I have TONS of plates/cups/napkins/utensils I can bring. Food, I’d have to think of what.

I’d love to come as well, but I live in Germany and it’s to far away :frowning: But the idea is so amazing! Good job!

Man! I wanna come back to LA just for this hangout! Lol! Linkin park is getting Lots of my money this year… Haha! Wish I could come cuz you cali ppl rock. When Jason and I move back we will definitely will have to have another LPU meetup! Can’t wait to move back already…

Ooh the beach is a good idea. I love a good bonfire. Plus Griffith Park closes at nightfall so if anyone wanted to hang later we couldn’t. The beach is awesome day or night. Hmmmmm…

Hell yeah I met a lot of great people at the house of blues show. I’d like to hang out with you guys again. I’m down for whatever

SD!!!
I’m down.

ha…beach it is then. I personally like Santa Monica but I’m pretty sure there’s no bonfires there. Huntington Beach maybe?

This is an amazing idea maybe we should create one for the east coast too = ] since i live in New York but if i were near CA i would def goo !

That’s a fantastic idea! But unfortunately do the most people in the LPU live in Russia and Europe.

  • I wish I could visit my great-aunt. She doesn’t live that far away from California. Okay… there are still 390 miles between her place of living and Los Angeles but she has promised me to show me a bit more of the US, haha.
Well, my point is - if this first meeting works you should do another one. Especially because the LPU is enlarging every year

Huntington Beach would be awesome, I think. More space & freedom…
