I didn’t really suggest at all that if you don’t have a big collection then your not a true fan. I was merely saying that people who DO collect and people who spend their hard earned dollars for LPU to get these Cd’s every year will feel a bit hard done by. Is that not a justified statement? “Dream big, work hard and don’t be an asshole”. I dream to collect everything LP. I work hard to afford to do it. If I’m an asshole because I am passionate about what I love then… I guess I am an asshole, LOL.
Sold for $50 bucks (what a steal!)! Sold out in seconds. Hard luck for those who missed out - I guess you will have to go back to the good old hard methods of collecting.

Don’t shoot us down because it’s obvious we don’t like it when people talk around the fan point. Just because the word fan isn’t there doesn’t mean anything! If he had just said “collector” it would have brought his point across good enough!

Let me tell you how serious this is! 2 of us are considering whether to renew! Some others who are not in here are re-considering whether they want in! This is because of the “fan-hostility” that’s been going on here and on chat and on almost everywhere (outside of boards like FB or Twitter from LPUers)!

Linkin Park fans have always been passionate, and if that makes you want to leave then leave. because for me, that passionate, firey, willingness to stand up for themselves and what they believe in is what i love about these people. its not hostility, they’re just all very strong minded people. and i think you’ll find that linkin park actually love how passionate their fans are. there is a reason we’re called soldiers, because we will fight, we are strong, and we are united. but noone is every going to agree on every single thing.
i think everyone needs to just calm down & stop blowing everything out of proportion. there were 90 bundles & 8000+ LPU’ers, at least 7910 people missed out, how about banding together and supporting each other instead of fighting about it, because its getting noone anywhere.

No, this is not about the ridiculous whines on the HT EP bundle anymore. Please ffs, I don’t give a damn if I can’t get it.

I think you are not reading the situation correctly. I don’t mind standing up for your band or whatever but this is not about being a soldier. It’s about using the “I’m a better fan than you” card when some of us say we don’t have what you have. Mike already made a point about this on his blog.

We are considering about the membership NOT because we are not fighting for it or whatnot. You are completely out of point. It IS hositility when you are rude to others just 'cause they didn’t attend this show, don’t have that shirt, don’t have this CD etc etc etc. How can this be put in the same category as being soldiers?

Please read carefully next time.

And dude wtf, when did I even touch on whether fans are passionate? You are not on the same page as us.

I would rather people making big arguments over petty things to leave the LPU to be honest. This isn’t what i came here to do, if your arguing over everything you shouldn’t be here. The only Hostility i’ve seen
is when people making a big pointless discussions. They chat is not hostile at all? Its the most friendly place around here, you’ve obviously made a bad name for yourself already. FB and twitter has been fine for me too, its as friendly as always.

Please take your signature for example “We will kill douchebags who have the intent to harm us or our representation”

You seem to be the cause of the hostility, so if you don’t want to renew. That’s perfectly fine with me.

I would encourage them all to come and be apart of the LPU if they are going to be members for all the right reasons, not all the wrong ones.

That signature is from the imposter twitter era and it is irrelevant to what we’re talking abt.

I have some friends. They dont know alot about LP and they find out things that should be known back in 2003 only now. And LPUers judge them for that and they’re afraid if they come on here more people will do that because there a bigger community here.

I assume u hav been here long enough so everyone is fine with u but for the new ones its not the same.

You’re just blowing everything out of proportion and taking things too far, noone in LPU has ever been hostile towards me without some hostility towards them first, maybe that’s why you see hostility everywhere? Noone said they are a better fan than you, and if you honestly think that that is what the LPU is really like, then you don’t really belong here. Every person I have had the pleasure of meeting in LPU has been lovely, they’re always polite and courteous, and they never stop showing love towards one & other. We are a family, and noone of us are trying to bring anyone down, so I really think you should just calm down, please. your only arguments so far have been about choice of words, and its making this all very boring. And when you’re talking about how everyone is being so hostile all the time, yes, you are talking about the fighting, not about membership. getting a membership doesnt make anyone hostile, these stupid arguments over tiny things that have been blown up to be stupid huge problems are whats casuing the hostility. You want to lecture me about my choice of words, I can give as good as I get.

I’ve been a Linkin Park fan for over a decade and am STILL seeing new things about them EVERY DAY, not knowing something about LP has never been and will never be something someone will be judged for here! The only reason they would be afraid is if you’re sitting there telling them horrible storys & twisting the truth like you have been here.
I have not been in LPU even a year yet, but I have never felt more welcome in ANY community, online or offline. These people are the best people in the world. and THATS where their passion comes in to it. You need to give people a chance for them to give you a chance! If you just tried introducing yourself on chat & getting to know us all, you’d see that. I love every one of these people with my entire heart & soul, and I will NOT sit by here idley while you insult them, I am sorry.

Really? Then why is it that I am ALWAYS judged for that? For not being up to date every fucking day, for not owning all cds physically…i mean, that’s not the LPU I knew. Everyone, well mostly, seems to be bitching on me about those things. They seem to be missing the point. I’m LPU cause I feel closer to the band anc cause I found people in here with the same passion I have for them, not to be judged or anything. And Zoe and I aren’t the only LPUers experiencing this. It’s one of the reasons I stopped coming in here and on the chat and on the site in general so don’t tell me that everything is fine and mellow between the members cause it’s not.
