I don’t mind Heavy, it is what it is. I really don’t like Battle Symphony though.
You’re worth your weight in gold offering somebody that. What a lovely gesture. If only I had somebody in Birmingham that was prepared to do the same for me (if I’m not sick that is) lol
Hope all had a good time last night! Out of curiosity, did the VIP guys take the whole barrier? Or was there still room left? Just wondering as we are planning on queuing early Thursday if there is a glimmer of chance to get on it. Thanks!
Went to the meet n greet. It was amazing. The vip was 70% full only, so there was loads of space in the back.
They played 27 songs yesterday, it was a great set. I’m super glad we got to hear specific ones!
@nikkikeswani you are so kind! depending on what time I’ll arrive, I’ll tag you here and maybe we can meet up.
How long did it take for the Meet and Greet location and time email to come in? waiting on my Brixton one
I wonder how Birmingham will work. We already have a front standing, so if there is ANOTHER barrier, what is the point? lol
I really wanted to but couldn’t sell it so I pulled a sick day
Aww thank you for saying that. But honestly I know everyone would love to be queuing all day and get to the front but we all have commitments so the least I can do to help a fellow fan
I know! I was soooo happy with Mike’s hand held high verse omg been wanting to hear that live for so longgg!
Aww don’t worry about it, yeah sure! I’ll keep a look out on here
Was it? Felt more like about 12-15
Exactly, kinda dont agree with that if thats what they do, that would be 3 barriers!?! Have to wait and see I suppose
Confirmation came 2 das before the show. Then 5 hours before the show, I got the meeting location.
Last time I saw LP there they had 2 barriers and front standing was first come first served. But there wasn’t any pricey tickets that time…
Very kind of you. I have to put my 2 year old to bed before I leave, so queuing is out the question for me. Just hope I can shuffle to a good spot on Thursday
I had a VIP ticket and there seemed to be a lot of confusion about what it actually entitled us to. When I arrived at the “check-in” desk they said there was no early entry, but it seems that as quite a few of us made a fuss about this they made arrangements to let us in first at the last minute (I had queued for about 3 hours before this). I felt really sorry for those who had queued up all day but I don’t think the VIP line took up too much space, but I was pretty incensed about apparently getting nothing for paying for a premium ticket so I think this was the right thing for them to do.
What I’m getting to with this is 1) if the VIP ticket does not get you early entry it is a complete rip off and exploitation of the fans (/rant), and 2) there was no reserved standing area for VIP, it just whoever is first in gets to go into the front section, and it seems perhaps they were a little conservative on the number of people they let in to that section.
I waited for 9, watching you lot go in before us was really annoying
I totally get the 2 barrier thing from a safety point of view, and the whole “need a drink/ loo but dont want to risk losing my space” And the 2 ticket types/ first come first served is the fairest way to do it… But to charge nigh on triple the price? Hmm… ( not flaming, just my opinion ) But if you did pay, they should bend over backwards for you. Too right!
Last time they gave you wristbands, so you could get back into front standing, so toilet/drink wasn’t a problem. I think front standing and early entry should all be in the same place, but early entry obviously have a better spot. That’s how I’d do it. I’ve watched from behind the second barrier before and it’s rubbish. You get squashed and have a poor view. No fun.
