LIVING THINGS: LP's strongest album is terms of lyrics!?

You have heard Until it Breaks right. I feel that might be the WORST Linkin Park song…ever. Aside from the difficulty of just hearing it…the lyrics are just, laughable. Maybe I don’t get the point Mike’s trying to make. Lyrically, this is the worst LP album in my opinion.

I’m really struggling to love Until it breaks =( It’s prob the only song on an LP album I’m not sure if I like.

For me before, every song I loved. Some more than others but I loved it all. This song is completely meh. It sounds almost like Mike is trying to be that ‘cool rap guy’ but I have no idea where the song is going or what the point of it is. Chesters singing is good, but I don’t get how it fits and Brads part at the end is even worse.
I have to respectably disagree. I mean Mike showed off multiple styles with the rap and it might not be his strongest lyrical showing it was still very impressive. I really like the dynamics of the song. The reason I love LP is cuz they are dynamic rather than static. Many bands or artists have “a sound” it can be great dont get me wrong but what LP does great is show how versatile they are while sounding great! I love this song, I think it flows very well!
The flow is exactly what I love about Until it Breaks - not a song I’d listen to while on shuffle but definitely cover to cover: there’s something about how it moves into Tinfoil/Powerless that gets me every time.

I rather liked Brad’s part at the end… I thought it was more impressive than some people give him credit for. [neutral]

I just fell in love with Asbestos. Give it back, give it back, g-g-give it back

Lyrically you can tell he was still “coming up with rhymes while recording”, I like it

Lyrics wise I think this album is magnificant. Though I must honestly admit. I like the lyrics on all albums a lot. Every song had depth to it… Every song album, fits to a certain mood and all lyrics hit me hard all the time.
And even, if some suggest that certain lyrics are poor… the way Chester and Mike bring them… makes it amazing in itself. Makes it better then it’ll ever be if sung by another artist.
It’s not that I am uplifting everything they do. But they touch me, the lyrics touch me. It’s raw, real and honest. So yeah love these lyrics. Especially cause it is saving what I have. And that personally means a lot.

I definitely agree that’s the most powerful.

DUST TO DUST

LT have strong lyrics, but say it’s the strongest album I disagree, Hybrid Theory is in my opinion more. (Speaking of lyrics).
LT is a greaaaat album! Lost in the echo have an amazing energy, I really like.

LT and ATS are the strongest for me and they are my favs.

I totally agree because I don’t think that many of you have truely listened to Brad’s voice before, I mean, singing. His voice is sweet and come one “We swim against the rising waves And crash against the shore The body bends until it breaks The early morning sings no more” this is so F* poetic! I love Until It Breaks, it’s even my nickname on a game. Its lyrics are amazing. You’ve underrated this song. You should pay more atention to it. It’s what I think.

I think lyrics of Living thing might be understood in many ways. You can see so many meanings and you can choose which one suits you best.
On the other hand songs such as Numb or Burning in the skies are about one particular problem but it doesn’t mean they are any worse!

I love (!!) Until It Breaks especially Brad’s part! This song is soo wierd and thats why I love it.

Im not sure if it is the strongest, but it certainly is really really strong in terms of lyrics.Maybe it is, cuz each and every song has got its story. One of the best for sure!

I agree. LT is the most powerfull, but I think instrumental too. It’s simply my favourite album!

BEST: I’ll be gone
WORST: Lost In The Echo

I think if I had to put together a compilation of my favorite LP songs- there would be songs from every single album. It’s hard to say one album is better than another because they are so different. You can’t really rank art that way. I think there is brilliance on every album- both lyrically and musically.

Now- if we want to take a poll on “favorite album”- that is another story. Not sure I could decide though?!?!

66 days until Vegas!

Even to decide which of their songs is the best is like Sophie’s choice for me :D.

ATS for sure has the strongest lyrics! Or at least the most special in my opinion. The meanings are so much more layered. TLTGYA off Minutes to Midnight is the next strongest song in terms of lyrics after ATS.

In my opinion, lyrics of LT have more layers and meanings. ActuaIly, I like the mystery that you don’t know what it is really about and you can only guess.
Even though I like ATS best.

ATS and HT are definitely the strongest. When I first heard Wretches and Kings, for example, I instantly made an association with current political situation in my country. I don’t mention When They Come For Me, The Catalyst, Blackout, Waiting For The End. And I think I don’t clarify my choice of HT))

I agree with you but i also like ATS because its about warfare. but Minutes to Midnight is all about dark times, suicide, and what we’ve done so i dont like the lyrics but the music is great!

Personally Hybrid Theory EP & Hybrid Theory

Living Things & Meteora are the albums with strongest lyrics for me! a lot of their song really means a lot! I love listening to these albums everytime I feel down & they are very much uplifting! Living Things was my “break-up album” on my latest Ex-Girlfriend. HAHAHAHA!
