And HT Vinyl? Well who knows which reissue is that, I mean some say it comes without the OSC single, some say it’s another RSD edition press. You say it’s 3rd (if it’s without OSC), so the 1st was regular 2001 gatefold, non-gatefold was 2nd then right?[confused]
It’s regular version, without OSC. I asked.
I never seen a non gatefold version from HT so far, I have the first press and the RSD are also gatefold releases, that´s why I said 3rd press
Ok so seems that if the non-gatefold is the 2nd press, this years one is indeed the 3rd pressing. I have the non gatefold one btw.

I would assumed the non-gatefold version was the 1st press as this one seems a lot harder to find? + from a record label point of view it would make sense to produce a low cost vinyl in non-gatefold form rather than a gatefold edition first?
As for the PREMIUM DELUXE BOX SET, I think the idea is to look at this as a piece of art rather than a couple of CD’s and a snow globe. $500 US for a limited edition interactive 3D sculpture based on the artwork of a #1 Linkin Park album is not a bad price when you think of it that way. With only 500 in the world, don’t lie…you would feel pretty good owning it.

Hmm you’ve made a good point there with the non-gatefold. We need to look into this thing to know for sure.
And I would not feel pretty good owning one of 500 waste-of-money-sets It’s all about the music, not something that you’ll play with few times and then put it back in the box or if not, put it behind the glass as a dust trap. If it was somewhere around $150 sure, $500 not a chance (a monthly salary for some).

I think your right Matt about the Non-Gatefold being the 1st press. As we have talked about in the past it is made with “lighter” material than the Gatefold version and could have indeed been a test run issued to people in the Music Biz. I’m surprised another version is coming out, wouldn’t this make it the 4th issue technically? (Non-Gatefold, Gatefold, RSD, and this new one).
About the “Deluxe Edition”, I’m not much of a fan of remixes, and well I thought the statue looked cool, but the idea of marketing so limited for a price of $500 which as mentioned is a persons monthly salary or a good chunk of there money. I would rather battle it our an Original EP or something xD. I don’t think they will sell out, even if its limited to 500. They’ll go down in price, Warner is just trying to pocket in money from LP seeing as they are a pretty big band. Hell the ATS Deluxe Editions went for about $150 if I remember correctly and I seen them on eBay go for no more than $70.00, even one with a BIN price of a whopping $30!
