Don’t worry! I don’t understand anything in Italian. Maybe except Fellicita, grazie, prego, La donna a mobile and one word that sounds like a swear word in Polish.
Aww… I’d like to learn German… I just don’t have much time to focus on it…
Ich werde dir diese morgen erklären oder zumindest ein paar Beispiel ( I’ll explain some of these tomorrow)
Hallo ihr beiden, mir geht es leider nicht so gut. Wie geht es euch?
du kannst das auch machen
maybe some few words for the start?
Yes! me glucklich
Ich lese ueber Gypsy. Ich muss den Text teilen. Wer schreibt so komplizierte Saetze?
.
In my defence, it is an old text. She is dead for so many years now.
Just copy the parts you don’t understand here, I help.
I know this is an old text.
I need to work on the parts I don’t understand myself. But thx.
You know this feeling when the only thing you understand in a sentence is its structure. You know where a noun and a verb are but the only words that are clear to you are articles der/die/das.
Ich bin Manuel.
Hast du Wasser?
I’m learning German in Duolingo but I don’t get the use of the articles and I’m starting to hate them jajaja Jk, but really I don’t understand them even though I already read the rules @theearlywalker said
I imagine - we have a lot of articles I try to explain… that means we have definite and indefinite articles, based on the sex of a word … definite articles are der, die, das - indefinite articles are ein and eine.
Nice you learn a new language- keep it going
Danke.
I mean when I know if a word is fem or mal or neutral, also singular and plural?
For example:
The kids read a book = Der Kinder lesen eine Buch
Right?
It is:
Die Kinder lesen ein Buch
Plural is always die
Ein Kind ist das Kind
Mehrere Kinder ist die Kinder
see?! Jajaja
A kid is the kid?
I don’t know that word, but I guess it “equal”?
kids is the kids?
Also Jungen is in general or specific?
Sorry for so many questions!
I am the kind of student that asks everything
Yes, but it could also mean: one kid is the kid
No, it’s “several”
Yes
“Die Jungen” can mean:
the young ones
or
the boys
In the case of boys:
The boy = der Junge
The boys = die Jungen
Don’t be sorry! You’re welcome!
Ok, thanks!
Then… Difference between Jungen and Kinder? Both makes reference to boys/girls.
Guten Morgen
Kinder is children
Jungen is young ones. Like young animals, young man, young children.
Example:
The bitch got puppys. The young ones are so cute.
Die Hündin hat Welpen bekommen. Die Kleinen sind so süß.
Guten Nachmittag
Then…
Die Kinder lesen eine Buch = the kids read a book
Die Junger haben einen Apfel = the young (boy, girl, etc) have an apple.
I’m not sure about die
Die Jungen haben einen Apfel.
In that context, everyone would think it’s boys.
That’s my problem! I try to see those words as they are, but I can’t get it
Hey! Don’t challenge yourself too much. You will give up. It’s not how it works.
Learn what you can learn, this details come later with using the language. You get the feeling for what is fitting with talking. Or writing. Or asking me.
I’ll do my best.
