Right (exactly, I think they just do this to torture people)

The use of the math in the real life… I love that discussion. Give me a sec and I will explain my points. (Low battery 1%)

Thank.

Knife (only engineers use that math lol)

I’m back. stupid sickness

I’ll try no to extend myself so much:

Maths are hard, I don’t deny it. But what subject in the life is not? Each one has its difficult and “unnecessary” themes.

Themes that you say: Why should I know this? If this won’t give me something to eat. There are a lot of replies to this question and no one is enough good to convince you.

Let’s put an example:
When you’re see the most beautiful picture of the world and the artist you want to know how he did it. You ask him. He starts to explain you the name of every tool, technica, etc. But in your mind you’re like :upside_down_face: and just reply ohh cool, great job, keep like that!

What I mean is you won’t use the 60-70% if the things you learned in your life, even though being an expert you won’t. Nobody cares about the guy of discovered the paracetamol or who created the nomenclature for the music, however there a few persons who know that and thank them we have a chance to know it too.

Not only them, some pharmacists use it too.

And to conclude: one of points why the maths are so difficult and “incomprehensible” is (at least for me) for the method everyone use to explain it.

I mean when you learned to add and subtract you had something to touch (papers, beans, crayons, etc) but when you saw the multiplications and divisions you already didn’t use that material, just the numbers.

In education there a lot of methods to work. The one I said before is called constructivist and it’s one of the most used in the first years of the children.

This method had 3 elements:
Abstract: the numbers on the blackboard.
Semiconcrete: the material the teacher use (is the same that the students have, but bigger)
Concrete: the material the students use.

And other problem is that when you see the multiplication charts the majority of people force you to memorize them, you do at the end, but you don’t understand them.

That’s because you can’t answer 35*35 without multiplying number by number, or in the worst scenario use a calculator.

Ok. I did it again. God! However, I hope you get my point.

Equal.

Loool ( that’s my word- and what a post @IronSoldier16 :joy::joy:- stay strong @chigokurosaki- it will work out and you’ll get it)

Level (When I was at University my maths teacher taught us how and why we add, subtract… in that way… at the age of 22… )
