Google earth is a bit unnerving now. It managed to render our house down to the open back door and the very dark grey floor tiles of our kitchen the day the photos were taken (and my mum’s laundry), all in very low resolution 3D, but still.

Yeah, I know, I was in a rush, the rendering isn’t brilliant (I don’t expect it to be) but it’s still pretty damn accurate. I’m inside my old high school now.

When I was at my old job, I decided to screw around on Google Maps’ Street View once, and for some odd reason, one single angle of the building was like 10 years old, despite all other angles were current
Edit: There’s apparently a timeline view now on Street View, that’s kinda cool

More so in the playground and exterior pathways, the actual buildings are hollow. It’s like being in the really early stages of a video game and glitching your way through 
My dad was unknowingly captured at a client’s house in street view, he had his back to the camera.
I got super sidetracked by Street View now (I blame you @the_termin8r ) when I should be doing school work.
A while back I was thinking to myself about this building I remember as a kid that used to have a big bubble machine blowing bubbles down the street, and couldn’t remember where it was. I found it on the site
There’s a reason I couldn’t picture where it was anymore: that whole chunk of buildings is physically gone
