If you win a Meet and Greet

If you win a Meet and Greet to a show on the Carnivores Tour, are you still guaranteed to keep your seats? I know that they usually happen during the opening acts (AFI and Thirty Seconds of Mars), but after the M&G is over, do you get to go the seat on your ticket? Are you helped out?

You mean like seat tickets…? After the M&G you just go to your seat, now if you have pit tickets and it’s general admission you won’t get your spot back unless you can push yourself through, no one will help you. It’s basically you choose either M&G or front row for pit… but if you have seats, you shouldn’t have an issue.

I can agree that this is right! Your seat is reserved the entire time if you have one. But nothing’s reserved in the pit.

I have actual seat tickets, not in the pit. Happy to hear that my space will be reserved! Thank you for the answers!

I wish bands did meet and greets earlier in the day so you don’t have to lose a spot in the pit

Picture this: you are in a headlining rock band. The time of day you do your work is in the evening through the night, and you have to travel at night. To cope you’ve started sleeping though the day. Would you give up sleep to do a M&G at 12 PM?

Lol you guys, god forbid you have to fight for your spot back in the pit after winning a meet and greet with the band for the concert you are seeing.

Hey now… I can see both sides however it doesn’t make sense for the band to come to the venue earlier than they really have to. I understand where Mark is coming from though.

I just did the Meet and Greet in Bristow!! It is the BEST experience ever. I missed 30 seconds to Mars…but I came to see LP anyway. They had us meet up about 8:00 p.m. and we went backstage where we took a group picture with the band and then every single member of the band signed one item that we had brought with us (DONT FORGET TO BRING SOMETHING SMALL) you have to keep it with you for the whole show and they don’t let you bring instruments or anything like that.

After we spent some time with the band (very down to earth cool guys) we went back out and could go to our reserved seats…no problem. 30 seconds to Mars ended their set about 8:45 so we caught the end of their show. People with Pit tickets just went back in the Pit… which was pretty full. When 30 seconds to Mars ended…some people left the pit and I saw fans move forward for LP. LP took the stage at about 9:15 and rocked the house. Chester and Mike were down in front and interacted with the Pit all night long.

If you get a Meet and Greet!.. Just do it and suck up the pit position loss. If you are in the Pit…you might see the guys are be able to shake a hand or get a high five. If you go to the meet and greet…they actually talk to you and sign an item and shake your hand and the whole experience is fantastic. Much better than being crushed in the pit. I had a reserved seat and had no problem getting to it.

By the way…Lorenzo works as the rep from LP for fans. He is the nicest guy…ever. Very cool.

When they had you guys meet up around 8:00, where did you go to? Because you are inside the venue by then, right?

I just want to let it be known that I am extremely upset over the way this was handled. I traveled almost 4 hours to see the concert so of course I did not see this email until the next day. Just getting to see the band in concert was worthy of bucket list item and to have been able to meet them in person would have been chance of a lifetime. But no this email was sent out at 2:07 pm on the day of the concert so I never had a chance to see it. Why was this not posted at least a week in advance so arrangements could have been made.
YES I was at the concert but knew nothing of getting picked for meet and greet. This is a crappy way to treat your fans especially an underground member. And yes I have made it known on Facebook and LPU on this crappy treatment of loyal fans and hope it will save another fan from being crushed to find out they missed it because they were not notified in an appropriate time frame. And of course they are nowhere near for me to try again.
Thanks again for whoever screwed this up and did not post the email in a decent timely manner.
