How old were you when you first hear LINKIN PARK?

I was 17 in 2000 and I heard one step closer… hybrid theory was the first cd I ever bought for myself. My sons are 6 & 4 and love LP they’ve been listening since being in the womb. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye::metal:

I was 12 years old.and the first song is numb.

I was 10 years old and the song was What I’ve Done. My big brother got me into them.

I was 13, it was in the 2000, and the first song i 've heard was Crawling. I bought the CD and I memorized every single song from Hybrid Theory…

I believe I was 19/20 yrs old at the time, I know I was already working and going to school at the same time. I was already with my boyfriend(now hubby), my brother would record videos off of MTV (before the influx of reality shows hit). He saw it and showed me the video for Crawling, before he played it, he asked me, what do you think of them? When he played it, I was mesmerized. I kept asking him, who is this, he was like “the name will appear at the end of the video”. Hmn Linkin Park…ok bf buys hybrid theory, promised me a copy, (he never made me a copy) so I bought it myself. Immediately connected with Point of Authority and In The End. When I found out that In The End would be a single, I was so happy. I love that song. I also bought a copy of Frat Party for the bf, watched with him and thats when I was like, I need to see them in concert. First official LP show I went to was at Roseland here in NYC for the Meteora listening tour. I lgged onto the lpu because it was the first 200 people that would get to see them for free. I remember I was at Roseland so early that day. So many good memories with lp and their music.

Last time I saw LP was in May of this year. I remember getting ready to go home after working and seeing Mike post a big advertisement for OML. Then I realized they were in NYC. That Tuesday, I heard rumors of a secret show to be played in NYC, little did I know that I would find that show later on that day.

Getting off the shuttle and looking to my left and seeing the setup for my favorite band and realizing that I would be part of the best thing was exhilarating. They were all smiles. Chester was beaming with pride because he saw and felt the love we showed him. I want to thank him for talking Mike into doing ITE after we chanted for them to do it. Mike was unsure how to do an acoustic version, we helped out.

Compared to most of you I am an old man, I first heard the boys when I was 31, in 2000 when they started lol. You guys grew up with them but I lived the lyrics to times in my life and the songs resonated with me so deeply.

Hello there! I think the first song I listen to was In the End in 2000, it was always running on MTV and I really liked the video.
I was 14 years old and I fell in love with LP. I asked my mom to buy me Hybrid Theory and she gave me it as gift on that Christmas.
I was reeeeally happy, one of my first physical CD ever owned.
From that moment I started to be into rock music :heart_decoration:
