Hey gang. I’m trying to plan a trip down from Toronto to the LPU summit in NY. I need know when they start and end though, or just a general idea based on past summits. So if anyone has been to a summit, could they please shed some light on start and end times?
We don’t know for sure yet, but based off the one I attended in Camden, it’ll start early in the morning (like 7 or 8), and it literally runs right until the doors open for the general public. It runs right into the show with only about a few minutes to spare in between.
I hope to hell they don’t start the one in Texas that early, The traffic here is horrible and it would take me 2 hours just to get to it. So I’d have to leave at like 5am! hahaha Let’s hope it is like at 9… 9 would be better. hahaha
I’m coming from CT and have to pick up a friend in NYC so almost 8h of driving, but I’m coming the night before. I hope we get some info about the times for the meetup soon too.
Can you leave and return to the Summit? I also have a M&G with Mars and it’s likely going to happen during the summit.

When I went to the Tampa show I saw a lot of people lined up to meet 30STM i think it’s bought? VIP tickets? They went in early, like before LPU early entry…I honestly don’t know how it works but I was told that line went for them to meet the band and that was BEFORE the doors opened…you should probably ask on 30STM forums or Echelon, don’t really know.
Thanks. Yes, I have to check in with the Mars people at 3pm. I think the M&G is before everything based on past experience. I’m doing a M&G at the Mansfield show with them, so I’ll know. I hope I don’t end up missing good parts of the Summit.
Do you mind answering how much you paid for the m&g for Mars? I’m just curious. My friend who’s going with me is a mars fan while I’m LP so she will be waiting around in the Woodlands all day while I’m at the summit.

I actually won mine for Darien in a Mars Shazam contest, but have done about 15 of their M&G’s over the last 3 years, mainly for the early entry. I just did one Saturday for the Mansfield, MA show. The experience is good but not as great as it used to be. Generally, the band does a 20 min or so group Q&A, followed by a signing by each member of one item (lots of rules for what they won’t sign) and then an individual photo with the band. The other advantage is that if she has a pit ticket, she gets early entry and can get a good spot. Otherwise if she has a seat and wants merch, she can use that time to buy stuff (the lines in Mansfield were insane once the doors opened.
