Have you tried to bring some structure into your day? Like setting yourself a to do list? Going out on night bike rides? Would love to get more pictures! Playing through all LP songs on piano and share it with us? Would also love to listen to it! And be sure, I’m not just saying it. I really do!
Before I moved here, I lived wall to wall with a musician friend and her 6 kids, all into music. I’m actually godmother of three of them. And their music room was wall to wall with our living room.
My friend was always worried, that it could annoy me. She actually was, everytime we were sitting there and some of the kids were practising, cause she just listened to the flaws.
I was the opposite. I always could hear who was practising. My friend was probably better, of course, musician as job, but the music was also so polished, right, perfect, in some ways soulless.
Her kids, they all not only practiced, they also used music as an escape. Listening to them drowning or better flying high in their music! Just loved it!!
@anomalia saw your window few, dang, this bird protection things look so horrible. Maybe you can create something to hang in it or flowers to stuck on it? Donno I check in on plug sometimes in the hope to meat you, but sadly never.

Had such an awesome birthday!
First I got to the car washer and scrubbed my car. I know, strange occupation for that day, but the place is near my daughters, and it was so necessary. I had used the car on the farm, fighting ways through dirt roads. 
And then I got my girl! Dang, she is the same height then I am.
We did a long walk (pics in the when and where)
And just talked, talked, talked.
After we got home, we cooked. Dinner with both my kids! Just eating, talking in all directions, feeling normal and relaxed.
So enjoyed that all.
And after she got picked up I had some after show here in the forum! Thanks to all of you for being!
My old birthday tree, in front of my daughters home. God, he is grown up too! And nearly blooming, like every year on my birthday!

Not really. I used to listen to Rammstein in the past when I started learning German. It was a mixture of interesting vocabulary or word play (Du hast vs Du hasst with the context of marriage/love/relation). Intesersting in terms of poetry (Mutter).
But I have never been an expert. Never knew what song belongs to what album.

I know. I don’t like it and it’s not me who has put it there but I had no chance to do anything about this before the lockdown. There are a lot of pigeons in the area. That’s why someone did it. (In the building in front of me a pigeon’s nest covers almost half of the window).

Haha, not for a while. Need to remember how to play first, haven’t really played (apart from an occasional strum here and there) in 3.5 years. I bet I don’t even remember how to play any LP song.
Wow, this was one of the posters I had in my childhood bedroom. It’s still up there, was one of my favourites of the band.
It’s by Joan Baez, song is called Gacela of the Dark Death (not sure who the original poet is though).
OT: It’s so sunny today, wish I could go out, even just to sit outside somewhere. At times like these I really wish we had a garden. Not sure what I’m going to do today, maybe some uni work, then organise my vinyls (been putting it off for a while now) but we’ll see. Hope you all have a great Sunday!

Today free and some time for myself and some time to spend with family. Today we made a nice walk in nature. The weather is really beautiful here. Nice and warm and enjoyable in the sun! Nice to be free today.

I was on a visit with my brother this morning, when I wanted to go home, my niece wanted to come with me. She started crying that she was not allowed to come 
. She really wanted to be with me. She’s a sweetheart.

He is so creative. I occasionally envy how good he is. Sometimes I try to make some music, you can be happy that you don’t hear it sounds really bad. I still have a lot to learn and I’m really going to do my best! But there are so many things I would like to learn, all of them need their time. 
Same here in The Netherlands. Every day things are getting worse and worse. I am still surprised that we are not in a total lockdown, like Spain or France. I walked this morning and how many people I see cycling and walking together or running fast, it is not normal, but actually I do it myself. I don’t like to sit inside too long. I am a nature people, so if the weather is good (like today) then I can be found outside. 
I have not received an email yet whether it has been sent or not. I ordered something a week and a half ago, but no shipping email yet. So we have to wait and see if we get something inside. 
Hi buddy! Yes it’s going well! I thought “should I play some songs that are not or often forgotten”.
I really like Qwerty and Carousel! I play them quite often, but it is a pity that those songs were not played live by them. Or very little at last.

@anna834 I’m fine, really. I’m just tired of feeling like a recluse. It also doesn’t help that the weather hasn’t really been the greatest. It’s been wet and dreary the last few days, but the next couple days should be really nice, so I plan to take full advantage of that.

Yesterday went into the woods, so-called “world forest” with trees from all over the world(of course not too exotic ones that wouldn’t survive in the clinate here, but still many different ones). I think it also was good for my mum, to calm down a bit😁

Another quiet and lazy morning. Had lots of coffee, trying to do some uni work now and not being very successful to be honest. I don’t know why I find it so hard to concentrate, it’s not like I have anything else to do.
It was raining early this morning but now it’s nice and sunny again. Still no sign of mail, it’s started to get very annoying, I think it’s ridiculous to get mail once every 2 weeks.

Day 14: I don’t really know what number day this is. I’m having some technical difficulties at the moment. What a perfect time for my phone to develop problems, so shortly after the warranty has expired, and in times where communication is so vital. Thank you universe. I always knew you loathed me so. I’ve decided that perhaps I should take this opportunity to lessen distractions and instead opt for quiet reflection and contemplation (as the Queen advises). I expect the guitar to arrive by the end of this week, thankfully it’s via courier and not Royal Mail. Because tonight they’ll announce lockdown to continue till at least the end of April. We knew from the beginning this was not going to last for just 2 weeks. We’re not out of the woods yet, we have a long road ahead. We won’t be returning to any type of norm before June-July.

Oh man please don’t say that. I thought it was 3 weeks and after Easter we could relax some of the measures but I suppose they have to do mass testing before we can go back. Still, I would imagine by May most businesses have to go back otherwise they will probably close. I know education is closed until the summer but I didn’t think we would be closed until June-July

There’s not even a slight decline in new cases and deaths so we are behind compared to other countries, Johnson didn’t take measures fast enough.
Businesses, I don’t know to be honest. Some are still open and doing take aways or whatever but that also kind of encourages people to go out and that’s not the point. We won’t be opening again (and by opening I mean doing just take away) before the end of May according to our conversations. I guess we all have to wait and see, it’s tough on everyone.

If being positive doesn’t work, maybe try to be even more negative than her. If she has some tragic scenarios for what may happen - invent something even more tragic, something ridiculously tragic. Maybe she will start negate it. Maybe it will help. Maybe she will start comfort you. Such a trick…

I agree and now he’s in hospital. This government were very slow in response. I almost feel most western countries felt they were invincible and then panicked when they realised they had failed to prepare. I can’t believe he didn’t even buy the ventilators that were offered to him when he had the chance. I don’t know why takeaways are still open - maybe for those who can’t cook? I guess as deliveries are still happening these will be open but they should ban people going into the shops for sure. Yes, hopefully by end of May most of us will be back at work - even if doing reduced projects.
