Hey you all,
No normal greetings, I have to rant a little.
As I already told you, yesterday was my final workday and I wanted to sleep responsible and start my 540 km (335 miles) home ride early.
But sure, to much in my head, I couldn’t really sleep. As a headache started knocking, I thought, it wouldn’t get any better. So I just could go. At midnight I got into my car and made the whole trip in 5 hours. So I arrived at 5 a.m.
My son was ill, and cause he does everything in the last moment, he had done nothing at all. In short, my place was a mess.
I ignored it, unpacked the car a bit and got a little sleep. As I woke up at 9 a.m. I had a full grown headache, but not bad enough to not start the day.
I already mentioned what the cat did. But not, that my son took with every peeing the next layer of the bed …
Here the old bed:
So not only the blankets and the pillows were ruined but also the two mattresses and the one that was the back.
What now?
I had to get this out of the house to the official dumpster place.
But first unpacking the rest of the car.
Then filling it with pissed pillows, blanket, mattresses and while I was on it, with some of the door mats that I couldn’t get cleaned anymore.
Off I went to get rid of this shit.
Not far from the dumpster bin is IKEA. So while I was there, I could get the next 27,- Euro mattress, some pillows, a cheap planket and new door mats.
The grocery store is right there, so some refill for the empty fridge and to the hardware store for Painters film.
The dogs needed some walking too. And calling my son, what to do for dinner? Wasn’t in cooking mood at all.
Oh, he was better and would get us some cheeseburger from the imbiss.
You are better? Could you please at least vacuum the hall, for the new mats?
Maybe.
As I came home, he hadn’t.
Got me angry.
But yes, he had done it. The common hallway, that the neighbour already did this morning while I hoped for some more sleep…
So I unloaded the car, packed up the grocerys. My son wanted dinner now, but I wasn’t hungry at all, it was just 5 p.m.
We started arguing. I said something like, he knew how tired and exhausted I am, when I arrive from my work time, and why he can’t help just a little bit.
He got on, how ill he was and hadn’t eaten anything.
We both got really heated and he said, that I am that way every time, when I arrive, and he wouldn’t take it anymore, if I go on like this, he moves to his dad.
I took my headphones put “a line in the sand” on blast repeat and ignored him.
After he left to his upstairs attic room, I was ready for a breakdown. But decided to just go on. No stopping.
Vacuumed the hall, placed the new door mats. Unpacked my luggage. Cleaned out my daughters room, scrubbed the bed the floor and while I was on it the kitchen floor too.
" Today, we stood on the wall
We laughed at the sun, we laughed at the guns"
As I was finishing the new bed with extra layer of foil.
My son texted:
“What’s up 
”
And he got us cheeseburgers.
We had a really nice dinner. He told me, how he forgot his keys and had to crawl through the window slit over the peed on bed to get back in. 
Jep, my headache actually vanished during my cleaning frenzy, so only exhausted now.
And at last, the great thing, that did wait for me at home:

FML. I don’t think there’s any saving it at this point. I’m running on straight battery life, so my time spent here is minimal.
Maybe Saturday I’ll shop around. Who knows. I’m working Sunday.
The rest of my week at work will be hell, but that’s to be expected.

I can’t tell how much I need to just have some time to waste and to feel bored- honestly that’s my sign to feel happy and it’s kinda luxury to not have appointments, duties or tasks on my schedule- so I’m looking forward 
@anna834 get a bonecrusher I know exactly what you’re talking about… I think kids at this age just have no braincells left over for thoughts about how to keep order or that they are a big part of the mess… It’s the same with my daughter… stay strong and I’m happy that you two had a good time after the fight

You are a very patient and forgiving mother. If I had been you in this situation, I would have become the main topic for the local media.
And you? You come home exhausted to find the devastated apartment (or bed and the stuff) and what you do? 1. Go to sleep, 2. Clean the house, 3. Buy the new stuff, 4. Have fun with your son (who was to blame).

OT: I’m counting to thousand not get mad about the fact that I’m obliged to come to work on Monday to send a single email (which can’t be sent from home according to my boss 
). As agreed before I was sure I would come to work after the New Year’s Day.

I’m so damn tired. Today honestly killed me. Assembled even more furniture, then changed everything. We moved the old stuff down and into storage (fucking heavy shit) and then moved all the new stuff back up (outdoor furniture being massive and super heavy). Then set up new speakers and whatever, threw away a shit load of junk… seriously, I’m so tired. I feel like crying.
This is just part of the recycling that didn’t fit outside and in our outdoor corridor and we had to somehow store it inside? I swear common sense was not a thing today.
And we’re going in earlier tomorrow to figure out the new layout. Also, I ain’t got a day off till Xmas day, fun times!

Had therapy today and did some shopping.
Then I kicked my butt and went into one of the old-established book store’s, even so I new they have a reputation to be difficult. And told there, that I have written a book and I’m a hometown author, if they would put my book into there display. (Bookstores mostly have books from the big publishing houses).
The boss said yes. And she proposed to organise a reading in the store with inviting some schools and press!

One day I will. And this won’t be for the local media only.
I hope she’ll finally give me the day off on Monday (but she doesn’t want me to be sure till tomorrow). But this is a person who must give a show in front of all the workmates first - like cancelling my days off in our HR department, keeping my leave application in her hands and saying "But your realize that you are coming on Monday, don’t you’’?
All this instead of saying Hello! in the morning.

Still awake…it’s 02:13…had babysitting earlier so now I can’t sleep…on a good note I have my works Christmas party tonight (Friday) then I’m off to a 5 star hotel/Spa on Sunday! Then no work til Friday 27th!
