So I left my phone next to the toilet sink at work as I was putting deep heat on and my boss comes down and passes me my phone…she goes “ I knew it was yours as I clicked on the phone and it came up with you and a very handsome chap, who is he?” I went “oh that’s Mike Shinoda!!!” Hahahaha!!

Yeah I have been busy, especially because of my emotions and things that have happened that I don’t want to talk about at this time
So schools in the area are closed for the day. The strong winds and the heavy rain last night into this morning caused a lot of flooding and road closures and power outages. That added onto the nightmare of a night that I had at work. By the time I came home, my feet were completely soaked through, as I walked through puddles and flooding.
Just because there was no school doesn’t mean I’m completely off the hook, though. I have to go in shortly because it’s opening night for the middle school’s musical! It runs all weekend, so naturally, I’m not only working tonight, but tomorrow and Sunday as well.
I also just had an audience of one watching me play the piano a few minutes ago.

My hometown rescheduled trickortreat until tomorrow bc last night was supposed to be heavy winds and rain. Personally, my parents either drove me when I was a kid or we took an umbrella. I don’t get it.

Trying to sleep but wide awake as ribs and back are tender and lying down is uncomfortable…
Heading out to work. Hopefully it won’t be as crazy as yesterday and the opening will be smooth. Thankfully it’s pouring down all day so it should help a bit and keep it fairly quiet.

I’m running on about 3,5 hours of sleep today. Haven’t had any food since yesterday morning, still tired as fuck.
I just submitted an assignment that’s due on Monday and I can finally shower, cook dinner and sleep. I have another long one ahead of me tomorrow.

Yesterday morning we went with two trailers to a neighbour shepherd, buying his last 18 sheep.
He is with cancer and just can’t anymore. A lives work, over. Talking, joking like, you will get better, in spring, we will bring your sheep back!
The sheep, one call of him, and they walked on the trailer. Best fed animals I have seen in a long time.
It was heartbreaking.
It’s everywhere, no one to take over.
Some shepherds reality, writen by a English farmer, fitting for us all over the world right now:
"It was the same for small farmers everywhere. Our sheep made the same price at market as they had done twenty years earlier. We kept more and more and made less and less money. The cost of everything else was rocketing. Farm workers go old and were never replaced. Our buildings were thirty or forty years old and slowly falling apart, but there was no money to replace them either. Our tractors and machinery were also ageing. Farming was changing too, with a raft of new regulations that would cost a fortune to abide by on an old farm like ours. My father and mother and I were working like dogs, running fast to stand still, but just got worse and worse. No one in our world knew what to do about it, other than work like hell and hope that something would change. My dad’s catchphrase was ‘farming is fucked’.“
