I love your coffee mug it’s huge and warmly! Wheat bags are also a good alternative to painkillers as are hot water bottles I hope they’re all helping. I had a massage yesterday and I honestly didn’t notice that much of a difference. I find the salt bath (with hot water) are more helpful for muscles.
Yay! I blame the forum for making my tea cold so I had to share my misery with you all. I’m glad nobody commented on the fact I leave the tea bag in, people here go nuts when you do that. I can’t drink weak tea. I have an awesome Legend of Zelda mug (will post if I remember!).
Another week of uni done. Slowly getting into a routine and all that. Still trying to figure out if it’s worth doing the reading they ask us to (they said it’s mandatory) because we haven’t really discussed any of it during lectures.
And, we didn’t do the presentation. There was no time, so we are either doing it next week or getting away with it (fingers crossed).
Now, quick dinner, some music and getting ready to go back to work tomorrow. Hope you all have a great weekend!
Good morning family . I hope you had a good night and can start well rested into the first autumn Friday… This week passed so fast again- that’s really incredible- take care soldiers and try to not worry so much
Hugs to @StephLP18, hope it will heal asap… and if you feel bored- just show up here dear
@anna834 sounds good- and the more often you succeed- the smaller the beast becomes and I read your blog, was nice
@evooba sounds good- hope everything will go on like this
Sitting right now in the docs waiting room. I need some more injections in the shoulder. It was just f*** last night.
Yesterday, I just was on plug dj
(Thank you @drounzer and @jrtrussell)
I got a call from my great cousin that my great aunt had passed.
…
…
She was way over 90 and at least for the past 10 years so in dementia that she didn’t recognise anyone. Her body just lived on and at least she was always in a happy state.
So it was time.
And still.
It hit me.
Way more then I would have expected.
I really mourn her.
She was the eldest sister of my grandfather.
One of the first girls on her school who graduated from high school. She also lost most of her class mates befor graduation in world war two.
She studied biology and got into behavioral research, made her doctor.
She just was an extraordinary woman.
And to me, as a kid, she was my favourite relative. I loved her elegance, her kindness, her interest in me and her stories about behavioral research, especially on dogs and wolves. As I was right early on into dogs.
I loved her dearly and she me back.
From her is the sentence:
The closeness of the relationship is not messured in greads but in how much one love each other.
It’s nice to be on it! Fun to chat and have music at the same time I’m currently on it with @anna834 <— Hi!!!
lol is that what we call it? pretty sure I have it as well I’ve bought every WWE game each year (thought not much changes Roster for the most part )
That sounds like a blast! Have fun!!
I’ll second this lol
@anna834 Oh I am so sorry to hear this! If I would’ve seen this while you were still on plug would’ve said something earlier sending you positive vibes!
Loving Links awakening! I got it the day it released haven’t gotten to play as much but its a nice refresher from the original one lol
OT: at work with some music. Hope everyone has a wonderful Friday (and if I don’t see or hear from you) a wonderful weekend!
Very nice picture. You both seem happy in it. She looks young alhough she must have been 55 or something that time.
Good that you have good memories of her.
However it’s very sad if someone who was so close to us doesn’t recogise us anymore.
It’s even more depressing if a great mind dies before its body does.
all’s fair in situations and circumstances
Though I should save it for moments of need like when I make you mad well…every day
Oooouuuuh nostalgic, personal aaaand awesome I like
Again I am sorry
Lots of hugs and good vibes your way
I have decided that I must become more involved and become not only your spokesperson but also your scribe so that when you anomalía things, people can still have these good points recorded in time
So true…
I couldn’t even say anything to grandma anymore because she thought I was my cousin who had passed away never recognized me after she lost most sense of reality…
as it is…never a good way to go
Hope you’re well too
I recommed you to open a special file where you could save The Golden Thoughts by Anomalia. Maybe in a year or two you’ll be able to publish a bestseller and become rich and famous.
I’m home on the couch, eating pizza and listening to the Yankee game on the radio after my last 12-hour shift for the week.
To recap, five consecutive days working 12-hour shifts from 7am to 7pm.
My boss found me towards the end of the “day” part of my shift, and told me that Worm’s replacement will start on Monday and that I was off the hook.
He comes back not long after that, and tells me that since Worm wrote the start date of his new job on his resignation, that his replacement technically can’t start until the day after.
Worm’s start date at his new job is October 10th. Next Thursday. My boss is also taking next Thursday and Friday off so………
On that note, with the four hours in overtime for five days this week, added to the 10½ hours I put in on Sunday, added to the 17½ in overtime from last week, I should see 48 hours of overtime total on my paycheck next week.
Good morning folks… starting early with my studying day motivated up to the hairtips- whenever this mood catches me I’m greatful and just let fffflooowwww cya later everybody
Ot: and
@LP13413 yaaay , that’s a whole week more buy something nice from it and pfui to worm- leaves a poop with his leaving- ass **** - sending you strength and sleep well- you’ll have two wonderful days off ahead my friend
Thank you very much you all! It’s so heart warming!
Thank you my dear
It is so sad and scary too. Always hope, that it comes different.
Still sorry too.
I hope that now the good memories or stories remain.
It’s strang, in the last 10 years, I had so lost a feeling to my great aunt, that I even wasn’t sure sometimes if she is still alive or that I had forgotten that she already died. She just wasn’t there anymore.
But now, she is so present again. In a good way.
One more story:
She was the eldest, then my grandpa and one younger brother. This youngest was named Herman after my great grandfather. But he much preferred his second name Peter. However the order was, to call him Herman.
One day, the nanny asked my great aunt where Herman was. And she answered, in the restroom.
It was a total no go to stay there for a longer time, probably read somthing!
So the nanny banged at the door. Yelling for my great uncle to come out.
After quite a time the door opened and my great grandfather came out. All red faced and embarrassed.
Thins that day my great uncle was Peter.
It was fun
And since @jrtrussell showed me, how to look up the dj history, I know that I’m not ghosting this place mostly alone. Yesterday @drounzer and I missed us by 4 minutes and as I got on my night bike ride, @anomalia kicked in, just to leave right before I came back.
I know, its a endless post, again. But still a mug, otherwise I come never to any end:
You can’t even have the hours back in free time?
Stay strong!! One more week!
OT
Since yesterday my book is back from the editor. Lot to do for me seeing to her chances and even more deciding if I can live with some or start to argue.
