I finished it recently and I really enjoyed it, can definitely recommend.
I’ll blur my synopsis, not because it’s spoiler heavy, but just in case someone is sensitive to hearing any kind of “spoiler” before going into something. Basically it’s about [spoiler]this girl whose brother has been involved in criminal activities and she has to come to terms with her family “skeleton” i.e. the fact that her brother’s behaviour reflects on their family in social situations, and how she personally relates to her brother and the rest of her family[/spoiler]. That probably doesn’t tell you much about what ‘happens’ but obviously I’m not going to go into details 
Been a while since I wrote here (not sure if I’ve ever made my own post here that wasn’t a response actually :V)
Yesterday was the first time in 2 weeks that I picked my Make Chester Proud diary back up and wrote in it. I haven’t had the motivation to do it at all because everything feels so useless most of the time. Yesterday was the first time that I got some positive vibes back. It’s pretty usual for me to get like 1 or 2 job offers per month through LinkedIn (apparently there’s a lot of Irish companies that scout out people working in data analysis, as I have been doing for a few months now). Yesterday I suddenly got 2 job offers in 1 day, which was exceptional. I’ve already had to turn down one of them (pretty much all of the offers I get don’t really fit me at all), but even though I knew that I shouldnt hope too hard on either of them working out, I guess it just helped me at least for a moment knowing that there is a job within my field with a good salary that would even consider me (the job that I haven’t turned down yet is closer to my studies and has much better pay than I get right now).
So I finally turned that excitement into some positive steps and ate better, stayed away from alcohol and exercised again for the first time in weeks. I reached the same amount of exercising as I could manage right before I stopped, which shows me that everything I’ve done so far helped and wasn’t a waste.
I’m just gonna try my best to apply for the job that I haven’t turned down yet without getting my hopes too high. Every time I’ve taken positive steps in the past 2-3 months they got shut down because I either got bad news that crushed me or just because I didn’t have the strength to keep it up. I’m trying to focus on the fact that I’m already better off now than I was last summer, but I’m still not happy with where I am at all and even when I’m feeling okay like now, my mood can turn upside down at the flip of a switch that I can’t control.

Yay for 2 job offers in a day!! Thats pretty awesome! Happy to hear that you channeled that excitement into good life choices and that you where able to get back into the exercise routine you once were in!
It can be hard to get back into it that I know (oops)

I walked to the shopping center this morning to find a new pair of sneakers. I walked home empty-handed. I’ll look elsewhere after work on Saturday.
Now I’m relaxing with the few minutes I have before work. There’s a chicken barbecue down the street tonight, too!

Still a little numb from my down last Sunday. And still in lots of boring paperwork.
But I also did some stuff for me. Made the room from my daughter nice, so it can be a guestroom, or a office, or welcome her back.
And I collected all my tax papers and will send them tomorrow to a friend who is a professional. He offered a while a go, but I’m not good in taking that kind of gifts. However he assured me that it is totally ok and I gave in, for my sake.
I also cooked for my self. I love cooking. For others. Not only me. And I try to convince my self, that it is enough, when there ist just me, happy about a self cooked meel. 
About to get into bed at a decent time 22:35…long day tomorrow and already know it’s going to be busy!!
Left work early today, was still feeling a bit down. Met up with my cousin and went for a long walk in central and then for a beer at our favourite spot in our neighbourhood.
Finally off for the next 2 days! Will try and relax as much as possible.
Good morning family Friday again and the weekend ahead, I hope you guys have a free weekend ahead to enjoy, relax and charge your battery…

Whenever there’s a barbecue down the street, I always buy one on my way to work and heat it up on my break. They always do a fantastic job!
