Same here! I try so hard not to eat them… and then someone at work bakes or i just walk by a doughnut at the store and feel like I need it instantly lol (okay maybe I don’t try as hard as I think I do ).
What is it with nobody wanting to have kids anymore? 
I just came back home, had a pretty amazing day! After working with my flatmate and friend, I went to dinner with some other friends and then for a couple of pints.
I also spoke with my manager a bit, apparently something happened at work (not sure what yet) but he told me he’s not angry at me and that he totally defended me and that we’re going to talk about it on Sunday. Honestly not sure what to expect.
@framos1792 Kids are a total game changer. And they are terrifying so yes, I am one of those people that absolutely loathe kids and don’t want to have any.
Watching The Night Shift on Netflix and waiting on clothes to finish in the washer.

Before I was 14 years old I was sure I wanted two children…then, one of our teacher, told us why she didn’t want to have one (she was like 60 years old). She told that she didn’t want to give a child to this world…we’re destroying it! She didn’t want to take the responsibility of growing a children in a world that is about (of course is something that will happen in maaaaaany years, but it will happen) to die. And since then I began to think about it in a different way.
Another reason is that I’m not sure that I’m going to be a good mother…I’m afraid I wll not be able to raise a nice person. What if my job doesn’t allow me to spend enough time with him/her? What if I won’t be able to be economically stable?
I didn’t grow up in a nice environment, my family situation has always been difficult…
I don’t know…I’m still so young, maybe I will change my mind, who knows

But @justinkilmer @gabridc98 @framos1792 @evooba I’m a teacher and at this point I have 24 kids in my class. I call them “my kids” all the time, but I don’t have kids with my husband yet.
When I was young I struggled a lot with my identity and wether I was into guys, girls or both… In that time I thought the same as the teacher: why put children on this world, the world sucks, life sucks… But when I was like 17 or so, I got out of my first depression, found out who I was and all, I realized that’s all just negative thinking. Trust me, with my anxiety’s I’m still Queen of Negativity and Fear but there are really good things in life too
Now I want to have kids, I stopped taking birth control for many months now and there is still nothing happening 
but I’d love to have kids of my own, next to “my kids” at school maybe one day…
@evooba I wouldn’t worry if I were you. Your boss said he had your back, so he’s probably going to inform you on what happend and maybe give advise in case this (what ever it is) happens again.
OT: I have vacation now so I’m being really lazy and I’m still in bed

Yeah, I believe you of course…maybe I’m still too young to be aware enough about how the world is…maybe I’m still to pessimistic, I don’t know. At the moment I’m just too busy with the uni to even think about having a family and so on

i worked in a school for 2 years between high school and college and my original idea was to be a teacher but thats a story for another time lol.
We do talk about the possiblity of having kids but at this moment i feel like we arent ready (idk if youbever really can be), but hey im only 23 theres still alot of time to figure out what. Good luck to you guys! And im hoping to be able to see a little soldier someday

@justinkilmer I get that, I think you will have a moment when you say you really want to have kids. Or you don’t get that moment. But if you hesitate, my advise is: don’t do it. It is a life changer, so only do it if you’re 100% sure

I never wonted to have kids. Thought, with my background, I just mess them up.
But life decided other wise. Despite prevention.
Best thing ever happened to me.
And now, to see this strong, independent teens, my fear is diminished.
They will go there path and I am proud.

No one is 100 per cent sure as far as having kids is concerned. It’s always too early because there always are many things you wanna do or expericence before you decide to become a responsible, domestic and boring parent. And kids change your life - as you said. My life has changed a lot. I will talk about the positives. My centre of universe got relocated from myself, my thoughts, my needs, my world, my fears to the needs of the baby that was born. I myself dissapeared for a few years. There have been only the baby and the robot who took care of the baby. The one who didn’t need to sleep or eat, had no other interst in life but the baby (even if the robot had needs - they were denied). But it saved me from going nuts cause I forgot myself.
