10 hours ride for 720 km behind me.
I was prepared for the usual driving and listening to Linkin Park. But first I have always to use the earliest stop to show the cat that we are on the road, so there is no point in meowing any more.
On that resting area I picked up a hitchhiker. He was on his way from Kopenhagen to his home in the UK. He is a travelling person, all over Europe, to Africa and Georgia. Sadly for me, he isn’t a story teller. So we just talked, listened to music, talked some more. I could use all my new skills in chatting and for no speaking training at all, I managed quite well. Such a astonishing person, we even talked deeper stuff, and Linken Park, Chester (is that the guy with the dyed blond hair? ) mental health. … and listened to some more music in pleasant silence. 8 really enjoyable hours, despite all that traffic jam. I changed the route a little bit, to bring him closer to his exit point through Belgium. As I passed the Benelux border, I did some waving to my neighbours. @kimims2010 @birdy1989 and her little doggie :heart and @Fravaco I know you are not home.
Now I’m on the farm, suffering in the shadows and will not take about this heat! Nothing ruins my mood right now!!!
Only the best for you all!!!
Oh, dinner is calling…
