Just watched Bad Boys 2, didn’t expect to find it anywhere near as funny as I did.

Finished off the Bad Boys trilogy. Didn’t think the last would be serious compared to the last 2.

Last weekend I watched the classic They Live. Pretty nice for a late 80s film, but it works best on a symbolic level rather than on a story and character level. Sometimes I thought I was watching a Rambo spin-off :joy:

Just watched Terminator Dark Fate. Didn’t expect to like it given the pile of utter garbage that Genisys was, but I actually liked it. However, it did render T3, Salvation and Genisys totally pointless.

What do you guys suggest to watch for Halloween? I can’t tolarate any paranormal crap, but some crime, mystery would be good. Jumpscares can pass too

Aliens is a great film.

Seven is a film that comes to my mind, definitely recommend it!

I watched that one. It’s a really turn of event at the end… Though appreciate your recommendation

So true, hardly any film has made me feel that anxious. Won’t say anything else in case of spoilers lol

Seven is on my to watch list. No spoilers. :joy:

I heard that ’ She Dies Tomorrow’ is a good one for a spooky Halloween experience. Haven’t even watched the trailer yet even.

Autopsy of Jane Doe is a good one, not so much scary as it is suspenseful, despite being a thriller/horror film.

Agreed

Or the original Alien

No, not even slightly. The orignal was slow paced, boring nonsense (there’s a shot of some landing gear coming down across the screen for some 30 secs). Everyone thought as much when it originally came out as well, opinions only changed later on.

Just watched Seven, good film…right up to the anticlimactic end. I was expecting something better than what actually happened.

No man the ending is the best part! :joy:

Watched Aquaman yesterday. It’s a good movie to fill the time. Jason Momoa did a good job. Some good action scenes.

Ohh that’s one of my favorite DCEU movies, btw you should give a try to JUSTICE LEAGUE (um, not much great as compare to TV animated series but yeah, Jason Momoa did superb acting in that movie too… .Although superman ruined every bit of entertainment tbh  I meant, He came and not a single vilian could stand against him… I don’t prefer to see the battle of people VS god, everyone knows who’s going to win in the end.
You can try out shazam, joker (2019, which you already watched I guess), batman series by nolan, wonder woman or if you already have watched these then check out the animated series called “the killing joke” and “the dark knight returns” of batman.
