Forum and Comment Reply

I just have some questions to the forums functions:

  1. The “View new posts” button shows only new topics or every new reply on an existing thread?
  2. Is there a way to have a list of all the topics I opened myself and all the threads I give a reply on? I really lose the overview.

And after all I tried to reply a comment on my blog but nothing happend. What went wrong?

If You are having any problems with Forum feel free to post Your thoughts here

AD2: As far as I know no. Ground(ctrl) are working (I hope so;p)through current Forum issues. Dan what’s Your statement on this?;p
AD3: You have to wait since the Forum/Website itself is kinda slow:P The comment should be visible as soon as the Forum refreshes itself :stuck_out_tongue: As for other people comments You have to approve them in Your control panel. Same thing if You comment on someones profile/blog.

Ok, maybe I wrote it wrong. Let me try again g
I’ve got a comment on my blog (I don’t have to approve that, maybe I have to change something in my options, but that’s not the point). I click on “Reply” at the bottom of the comment, but nothing happens. No new window or whatever to write my reply in. I can’t even write a reply. That’s the problem. When I click on “Message …” I’m linked to the mail menue, but the reply-button does nothing. Not the first try, not the second, not the tenth … [wink]

@Ann, yes it does. Scroll down and hit reply :stuck_out_tongue: It takes You to “Leave a coment” box :stuck_out_tongue: Other way is to post a comment on user that commented on your profile. Two ways of a reply. Make a @ before username so you don’t get confused :stuck_out_tongue: That’s the way the so called “reply” works, yeah it should work similiar to in example youtube replies but obviously its too much for Ground(ctrl) to achieve:) Funny thing though, LPU pay serious $$$ for a Forum that doesn’t work well, is worse than the previous one, and they got almost 0 responce from so-called Ground(ctrl) “techs”. Maybe I’m bitching too much but seriously? MASSIVE FAIL.

Oooooookay…now I understand. Maybe I would have noticed it, when there were more than one comment and the window would have to scroll up when I hit “reply” [lol]

Thanks for your patience.

No problem, glad I could help. I was confused about it too

I think I’ve encountered that same problem in regards to replying to a comment on my blog. I click on the “reply” link, but it doesn’t take me anywhere. I’ve read some comments here but I’m still not 100% sure what to do. Maybe I’m just daft?

That’s probably it, LOL!!
